Second Floor Common Room, Weds Afternoon/Evening
Kathy hoped no one on this floor would mind that she was taking over their common room, but she was starting to feel guilty about making the delivery people hike all the way up to the fifth floor with her orders. Fandom takeout tended to err on the excessive side, even for someone with as enhanced a metabolism as Kathy had developed. Camping on the second floor made her feel better for ordering so much as well as making it more likely that she'd find help eating it.
Tonight she'd gone for pizza. It just seemed fitting for an Adolescent Coyote marathon. Apparently the next season was starting soon and the gifs of the show flooding her dash made it look pretty neat, so she'd decided she'd check out the first few seasons and see if she liked it.
Not far into the first episode, she was discovering the show featured snark, bad CGI, and a pretty cast apparently allergic to shirts (except for the snarky best friend, apparently). She still wasn't sure about the actual quality of the show, but there were worse ways to spend an evening.

Unless it was a gluten allergy. And then the whole room was practically weaponized against him. But he'd said he'd tried pizza before, so Kathy wasn't gonna push the issue.
"From a world with very different cuisines?" she asked.

"But, we didn't have money for things like this. We ate mostly soups and stews from homegrown vegetables and cheap meat. My stomach got used to that sort of thing."

"Oh, so many!" she said excitedly. "Bean salads and noodle salads and potato salads and..." She broke off, realizing she was babbling. "We absolutely need to meet up next picnic so I can show you a few new things to try."

He still knew he had to get off this island at some point but when he wasn't able to, he figured he could make some tentative plans. "New things, huh?"
