Fourth floor common room- Thursday evening
Gwen figured that as a treat for surviving most of her first week here (literally and figuratively), she'd just use a little bit of the spending money she'd been given before coming here to order a pizza, because she didn't feel like trying to cook.
When the delivery guy showed up with several she'd figured they were for deliveries elsewhere, but then there was a conversation including sentences such as "I only ordered one. One small," and "I'm not paying for all these," and "How do you even make money?"
Long story short, Gwen had a bunch of pizzas and she was only one girl so someone was going to have to help her with these.
[Possibly a little slow till after work but whatever, open CR!]

And okay wow, that was some hair.

"Thank you," she said gratefully, scampering over to grab some after tugging her hair in so none of it was out in the hallway, at least. "Are you new? I'm just guessing 'cause I haven't seen you before, but I also might be totally rude and unobservant, too, if you're not new."
She would feel really bad, if that was the case.

And she didn't see why they wouldn't be real, considering. She'd seen stranger things.

She'd seen stranger things, too, really.

She paused, reflective, and added, "But I think I'd be okay with cutting holes in my dresses if I got to fly." Not that Alana could, but she didn't know that.

She was still kind of getting used to that, at all, even after a whole summer.

She shrugged happily, flouncing onto a couch with her pizza. "So where're you from, anyway?" Look at that segue. Like a pro.

She was personally super-intimidated by the idea of cities that big, but that didn't mean they weren't really neat, still.
