Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday night
It was time for a quiet night in for once, Johnny figured. He'd been out a lot recently, mostly not even doing fun things. Well, superheroing was fun, but not fun. You knew what he meant. He hadn't taken a night to just enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Speaking of simple, not only was The Buonarroti Cipher on TV, it also had commercials, which helped break up the stupidity. He was as excited as somebody could possibly be for catching a several year old so so movie based on a book he had no desire to read on basic cable.
So he plopped down on the couch, ordered some pizza, and got to enjoying Tom Hanks try to take any of this seriously.
[OOC: Hi, I haven't posted a CR in what seems like forever. I blame Fall.]

"Good evening, Johnny! Oh, is this a good movie?" she asked cheerfully as she took a seat, laying her book down beside her.

Unless the cake had a pretty dancing girl in it. That would be a different story.
no subject
No, it would not have a dancing girl in it.

Oh, that wacky escaped-convict secrecy.
"So yes, I suppose that means I am."
[[Sigh, the cat has been demanding attention all night and keeps knocking things over if I try to do anything else . . .]]

"How's that for timing? Clearly this was meant to happen," Johnny said with a grin. He was choosing not to think evil supervillain when she mentioned the vague business trip, ven though that was a natural assumption for him. "And now I'm officially looking forward to the weekend."
[Darn that cat!]

"As am I. It will be something new," Cosette said cheerfully. Indicating her clearly nowhere near modern outfit, she added, "I shall have to find out what to wear, or I'm likely to draw attention to our poor dancing skills."

Why was she on the third floor? Who could say?

She watched a moment longer. "How can you tell when a television thing is real and when it isn't? It all seems pretty unbelievable to me."

Her forehead furrowed as she considered. "I'm not sure we have any celebrities. Those are really famous people, right? Well, there are always rich people or those well known for exploits in battle, of course."
