The Gym: Wednesday Afternoon

Dipper decided today to do something healthy. Like work out with the weight machine to try to perform a bench press.

It wasn't working well. He could barely push the bar up.

If one listen closely, they could hear him mutter "Stupid. Noodle. Arms."

Hopefully no one else would be around to witness his humiliation.

"My last name is Pine?" he added with another wince. "Sorry. Kind of a joke. What is a clan ken Selvren? Are you from another timeline or planet?"

"Another timeline," Jalian answered. "Ken Selvren is Clan Silver-Eyes, in English. I am Jalian of the Fires of the clan of people with silver eyes. And I'm not related to fire, either," she added as an afterthought.

"Oh!" Dipper said looking excited. "Are you from the future? Have you ever seen the giant Time Baby?"

Dipper's future was rather weird.

"I'm from a different timeline," Jalian reminded him. "A future of a world like this one, but not this one. And...no." She gave him a very dubious look. "What is a Time Baby?"

"A really giant baby that doesn't like timelines being messed with," Dipper explained. "And he's from the future. I was just making sure your future timeline didn't cross with my future timeline."

"I have never heard of such a thing," Jalian said. It was probably just as well.
