Sixth Floor Common Room, Saturday evening

Between the smell of food, the sound of party music, and the sight of a lot of bottles (some of them even non-alcoholic!), it was clear that the sixth floor was ready for a party. Far away from yurts, and more importantly, far away from people who might be interrupted by a bunch of food, music, and drinking!

Summer was half over, everyone. Come on up and celebrate.

"Oh yeah?" Nathan didn't listen to the radio often so he'd missed this. "Where at? The bar?"

Oh, pfft. Edward wouldn't drink where he ate! Ate where he drank? Earn money where he drank? Whatever.

"No," he said, maintaining that grin, "The post office. 's a nice enough job, plenty of exercise."

"Post office?" Nathan repeated. "Delivering letters and such? That...seems like an active job, if anything. What made you decide to work there?"

Edward shrugged a shoulder. "They were hiring," he said, "And I get to go outside every now and again."

"Good as reason as any," Nathan nodded. "Didn't know if you had secret postal carrier aspirations or anything."

Edward snorted. "I've no ambitions to do this for the rest of my life," he said immediately. "But I'd like to take Cosette out for a meal every now and again."
