4th Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening
When Eggsy had ordered dinner, he hadn't been aware of how much food would be brought. He in no way had enough money to pay for everything that showed up with the deeply apathetic deliver guy.
Apparently this island was weird on every level.
But he wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth, taking a few bags of burgers back up to the common room to eat an ungodly amount while avoiding his roommate. All in all, not the worst evening he could have had.
[Totally open. Mmm. Burgers]

"You hungry?" he asked, fairly sure that wasn't exactly the case. He'd ordered food enough times to know sometimes this place just gave you about eighty tons more than you needed.

Unless Eggsy had a cast iron stomach or something.

"I'll pass on that part," Eggsy replied, making a face. "They just left the extra. Told 'em I ain't payin' for it, but they left 'em anyway."

Okay, he wouldn't do the latter, but it'd be funny to see her face.

"Eggsy, hey!" he greeted. "Are you planning to eat all those yourself?"
no subject
"Nah, have some." MAYBE GROW A LITTLE.

"That's very generous of you," acknowledged the boy who had literally baked brownies just yesterday for the express purpose of sharing them.

One benefit of living on the fifth floor: you always got to pass other people's common rooms and see what was available.
"Someone get delivery?" she asked, seeing the bags of burgers. She looked around to see who they belonged to. "Are these for sharing?"

The number of people around here with some kind of fancy biology meant that for all Kathy knew, these bags could be someone's idea of a quick after-dinner snack.
"Do you mind if I grab a few then?" she asked. "I'm Kathy, by the way. I usually live up on the fifth floor, but I was lured here by the siren song of hot food I didn't have to cook myself."

Look, she'd heard radio. And far be it for her to interfere with someone making chocolate treats!

"Oh, you don't have to go and get anything just for me," Kathy protested. "I'm not going to send you off on an errand for something like that!"
Just, you know, if Eric had any brownies on him--or the intentions of making more--Kathy would have been happy to assist in relieving him of them. That was all.

"It really wouldn't be any trouble at all," Eric assured her. "My room's not even that far." It was on the second floor.
