Second floor common room, Wednesday afternoon

Okay, all this news about the alleged end of a certain boy band was toying with April's heart. She just couldn't handle the stress and uncertainty!

That was why she was currently eating her feelings in the common room, and in this case her feelings tasted a lot like cookie dough ice cream.

The TV was on, and insistently playing celebrity news talk shows although it was, in honesty, the last thing April wanted. How could these reporters be so cold about this?!

"Hi April!" Dipper said cheerfully as he entered the common room. "How've you been doing?"

"Hey, Dipper." April sighed. "My boys are splitting up."

With a sweep of her arm towards the TV, in case that statement was totally confusing. A group shot of One Direction was occupying the upper corner of the screen while a panel of reporters discussed the sad, sad news.

"Oh," Dipper said with a shrug. "Well if they're anything like boy bands in my world they'll just clone another batch and make a hit record."

"Whaaaat?" That was a beautiful world you were describing, Dipper. A world April wanted to live in! "So you're saying in your world there is literally unlimited boy band talent and no one ever has to live without the harmonies of smoldering yet sensitive tenors?"

EXCUSE HER WHILE SHE WEPT FROM HAPPINESS.

"Well there was," Dipper said grabbing a soda from the fridge. "It was a group my sister was really into. They would get rid of a member and just use their clone if they didn't perform properly. They spent most of their time in captivity. Last I saw they were running around free in the forest and occasionally hugging trees."

Yep. It was one those worlds.

April could probably relate.
