4th floor common room, Friday morning

With no classes this week, Breq was catching up on the long list of music she had downloaded to her phone. It didn't hold quite as many songs as she would have liked, and she missed her own archive, but it was definitely handy.

Having found some speakers to connect it to, she set her playlist to random and pulled up the volume. Sadly for people around, she wasn't the best judge on what would be considered too loud in a common room. Leaning back on the couch, she closed her eyes, taking in only the music.

[Open! Breq's playlist is moddable and very random.]

Following the music on her way around the dorms dropping off invitations, Summer peeked her head in to see who it was, and really wasn't surprised to see that it was Breq, considering she usually reported on her at the music store for radio.

"Hey, Breq!" she called, stepping in, waving a little piece of paper and saying something else that was...completely buried by the volume of the music. Oops.

Summer bit her lip, wondering if she was interrupting anything, but she smiled and repeated it again, with another wave of an invitation. "I said, I'm having my final party on Sunday, if you'd be interested in coming. Here." She held a paper that looked like it was trying to resemble a cat's face out to her, with a copious amount of glitter that was...partially falling off. "I made invites, too."

"Thanks!" Summer's much-easier smile brightened, even if it was with a little wistful sigh. "I'm going to miss them, too. I mean, not that I'm going to stop partying, obviously, but parties back home are an entirely different beast. These ones were nice, though. ...Cozy. I'm glad you made it to a few of them, too. I haven't had too many chances to get to know you, really, but I'm glad I did."
