Second floor common room- Monday morning

Sabine only had one class on Monday, and she had just planned on getting some caffeine before having to go, except she walked into the common room to find puppies. Random puppies. Adorable, tiny, fluffy baby puppies.

She didn't know where they came from and obviously they wouldn't be staying, but could anyone blame her if she ignored the caffeine to pick one up and cuddle him? (The answer was no, not unless they were a monster.)

Really, Nina and Prompto probably actually were closer to being tied. Sidon had his own category. But loyalty to her roommate meant that Vette had to make certain concessions about who belonged in first place, here.

"I mean, I do try to make him feel secure..."

She wasn't so sure she always managed. But she sure tried.

"I'm sure he appreciates that," Nina said, then had to laugh. "You seem more secure about it, at least!!!!!!!!"

"I mean, it's pretty hard to deny that he's head-over-heels," Vette admitted, her voice dropping down low. "Doesn't mean I don't think he's out of his mind, too. But I won't complain."

Her lips twitched.

"There's, like, a quote????? That goes something like 'If you've never lost your sanity, you've never been in love'. So, really, that sounds like he's doing it right!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I would beat you for using the L-word," Vette declared, "but the only thing within reach is Nawara, here," she indicated a particularly puffy pomeranian pup, "and he's not for throwing at people."

Nina gasped.

"Vette!!!!!!!!!!! You can't name them if you're not keeping them!!!!!!!!!!!!"

That way led to madness!

"... Tell that to Nawara, Vuren, Jer, Pampy, Sinya, Cazne, and Alema."

She'd gone running headlong into the madness already, Nina.

"No!!!!!!!!! The puppy invasion has won against you!!!!!!!!!!!!"

That was the only sane response to that, really it was.

"It's true," Vette agreed, nodding solemnly. "The puppies have won me over, Nina."

"You," she said dramatically, "are dead to me. We can no longer associate!!!! Not now that you've been assimilated by the puppies!!!!!"

"They were kissing me," Vette laughed over at her. "Names before kisses, that's the rule! I had to think fast!"

And also, she'd just really, really wanted to name the puppies.
