Second floor common room, Sunday afternoon/evening

Lana got back from the library and went into the common room to get some tea.

And stopped.

There were a number of pizzas on the tables around the room, still hot, with nobody around them. By the time she'd made her tea and found something to watch on the television (some documentary about spying during World War II), there was still nobody there, so she shrugged and took a piece.

Apparently tonight was a pizza night?

"I always check it first even if the player forgets to mention it," Lana said. "You never know."

"Smart," Astrid nodded her approval, thoughtfully chewing on the first bite of something mostly loaded with veggies for a moment.

"How was your break?" she then asked. Talking about her own wasn't a thought she particularly relished, but she figured making small talk was a step above just awkwardly eating pizza and contemplating the ease of poisoning some of your peers.

"It was interesting," Lana said. "I went with some others to Prince Sidon's homeworld. It's very different from what I'm used to."

"How so?" asked Astrid, more than happy to latch onto having someone else do most of the talking in a conversation, and she grinned, faintly. "Though I'd think anything that produced someone like Sidon would have to be different from most places..."

She didn't know him well, that was true, but it was kind of hard not to at least know Sidon.

Lana laughed. "That's true enough. His people are all fairly enthusiastic about things they enjoy, even if that's pestering people." Tula and Tona. "Their home is lovely, too. We also met an avian species and visited their village; it was very colourful."
