Third floor common room- Monday morning
Sabine had been pretty scarce after the whole Toymaker thing. Even after she felt better about it, she hadn't much wanted to deal with people. But new kids would be here soon and classes would be starting and so she finally decided she had to get out of her room. It was breakfast day, anyway, maybe she could hang out and see if anyone hated her?
So she went up to the third floor and... no Wayne, no breakfast.
"Well, that's new."
[Someone had to! Open!]

"I DEMAND SUSTENANCE!!!!!"
She looked around and blinked.
". . . Where is the breakfast friend?"

Bowls of cereal. Mae could make cereal.

She climbed up on top of the cabinet to look for bowls. This was definitely going to result in broken crockery somewhere.
Possibly deliberately and with a certain degree of glee.

Buuuuut, being up early on a Monday for a chance meant maybe Prompto could get in on those Monday morning breakfasts he'd been hearing so much about (and maybe enjoying some leftovers in the fridge on occasion, too!). So, since he wasn't sleeping anyway, he drifted on over to the common room with a hopeful sort of hop in in his step.
Peek in.
Ambled in.
Frowned.
"Aww, man, did I miss it? Am I too late?" Then he blinked. "Too early???"
This was all too early for him right now, if he was honest.

Then he sighed, throwing up his hands. "Oh, sure," he said, "the one time I'm actually up early enough for breakfast Mondays, and the dude's not even here! Mondays are my sleeping in days, Sabine! What are the odds??"
It was like some mysterious force prevented him from ever being in this same room with that other guy on the same day for some unknown but brain-saving reason!

And more proof of his own dumb stupid bad luck, he guessed.

It seemed to be a process that required climbing over the cabinets and possibly scaling the shelves in the pantry. In her defense, Mae was very small.

And somewhere, far away, in the far reaches of rural-ass Ontario, Wayne felt a sudden surge of anger over apparently nothing at all.
But, to be faiiirrrrr...Wayne felt sudden surges of anger over apparently nothing at all about twelve times a day.

Yeah that was... what... Nina hadn't been hoping to see when she'd poked her head hopefully into the common room.
"Oh," she said, and heaved a tragic, tragic sigh.

"You okay?"
no subject
Ugh.
"That's, like, the worst part of boarding schools," she said. "No one ever stays????????"
Except her. Since she had nowhere else to go.
Ugh.

It was Monday and he was actually up for breakfast, but there was no breakfast! It was a tragedy</i., Nina! You had no idea! He gave her a faint smile. "Hey, Nina."

"Are you, like, feeling okay???????????????" she asked, genuinely concerned. "You're not usually up this early???????????????????"
