seriesofbaddecisions: (okay but what)

Second floor common room- Monday evening

Sabine had just wanted dinner, and she couldn't find the leftovers she'd stashed in the fridge. Maybe someone else didn't know what the starbird symbol on her stuff meant, or maybe a gremlin stole it, or maybe someone just pushed it waaaay back there somewhere.

Anyway, this had led to a search of the fridge, and the freezer since she might as well, and at this point it was something of an excavation.

She had a trash bag and was tossing the things that looked just so expired, unrecognizable, or downright evil. At one point she pulled out a container and studied the label, asking, "Who's Rory Gilmore?"

[That's right, it's a second CR in one day like it's 2010 or something. Following up on a post I apparently promised to make in 2014. Open!]

"I suspect that I'll be getting quite familiar with the takeout options around here, myself."

Speaking of.

"Got any great recommendations?"

Kuroko tried not to think about what might be in the container she added to the bag while she talked about food.

"What?"

Kuroko had heard plenty of weird things about Fandom, but somehow this seemed weirder than most.

"Isn't that, like, terrible business practice?"

"Well, I can see that. And I guess it means you don't always have to order your own food, even if no one cooks?"

Kuroko frowned slightly.

"Though I'd hate to be a mooch all the time."

"That is the right word, isn't it?"

Kuroko paused mid placing something fuzzy in the trash bag.

"Wait a minute. We don't always have to do this, right? There are, like, cleaning robots and stuff for most things, right?"

"The last dorms I lived in had robots for cleaning, yes. We were expected to keep our own rooms clean, but everything else was taken care of. We also had a cafeteria, so food was generally easy."

"I do like getting along with people."

Kuroko tossed one final container into the bag. "Is that everything?" she asked, sticking her head into the freezer to see if they'd missed anything.
