Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [09/30].
Well, now, that was an exciting weekend. It wasn't every day that a simple Letterkenny farmboy found himself on the edges of creatin' what he could only imagine would be quite the international incident. And Wayne found he didn't really much care for excitement, anyway, so, while he really was going to miss having Katy around, he was mostly just glad to have things go back to normal again.
Normal fer this place, anywhey.
He got up a little extra early this morning, too, jus' in case he had to go and beat Nina to the punch, not realizing that it wouldn't even be an issue this week. Still, he was glad to see the common room empty when he got there, and he set to the task of getting breakfast started. Because Katy'd mentioned it, he even thought of doing French toast, since apparently Nina made her some (and it had involved cabbage!), but everyone knew French toast was just a waste of time, so fuck all that. He was sticking with the standards: pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, so on, so forth. And he had something to do, and it was productive, and so he was feeling pretty alright.

"Demon Marcus," he explained, looking down at his clothes -- the first of many new outfits he'd be buying. "... And, like, I'm not going to lie, it's mostly for the employee discount." And because Sparkle was awesome, and Simon didn't want to ask his parents, 'Hey, can you buy me an entire new wardrobe, because I just found fashion?'
... Okay, not mostly for the discount at all, but it was still a big plus.

"I don't think I've been there yet," he said, frowning as his head tilted a good deal to the side. "What kind of stuff do they sell?" A beat. "Or, you, now, I guess. Not 'they'."

Somewhere, far away in Shady Creek, Leah and Nick were laughing at Simon and didn't know why.

It was mostly just a squiggle in the air. "Like, what style?"

Look, Ulysses was wearing tie-dye in what may or may not have been an ironic way. He was probably going to be disappointed in 'trendy and upscale'.
"Well, maybe I'll come by and check it out sometime, anyway." Maybe because Simon's self-conscious laugh was kinda cute? "I mean, winter's coming and everything, probably gotta buy some new stuff at some point."

... And anyway he kinda wanted the cute guy to come visit him at the shop some time.
"But, yeah, we can definitely help you with winter stuff if you need it. I mean, I can. Help you."

He had his heart set on some completely ridiculous winter coat with a massive fake fur trim, or something.
But that was not really something he was thinking of right this moment. "I'm Ulysses, by the way." A beat. "Or just Uly."

He shoved a forkful of food in his mouth to shut himself up before he started rambling again.

Ulysses smirked a bit. "Yeah, good to meet you too, Simon," he said. "Almost as good as this breakfast, but let's face it, nothing tops this breakfast."
He'd been really hungry, okay.

Especially because he hadn't had to cook it!
"So what about you?" he asked. "I'm guessing you don't have a job, but you must do something in your spare time."

Ulysses shrugged and ran a hand back through his hair, which flopped back down as soon as his fingers were through it. "I don't know, I just... read, like a fair bit? And I go to the mainland a lot, just to hang out."
And to wander around. Vaping.

"Oh, yeah?" Simon asked, perking up a bit. "What kind of stuff do you read?"

Also a ton of conspiracy theory sites on the internet, but he knew that didn't make a great first impression.
"I mean, like, classics. I'm doing Kerouac right now." Because it was a time-honored hipster tradition.
