Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [09/30].

Well, now, that was an exciting weekend. It wasn't every day that a simple Letterkenny farmboy found himself on the edges of creatin' what he could only imagine would be quite the international incident. And Wayne found he didn't really much care for excitement, anyway, so, while he really was going to miss having Katy around, he was mostly just glad to have things go back to normal again.

Normal fer this place, anywhey.

He got up a little extra early this morning, too, jus' in case he had to go and beat Nina to the punch, not realizing that it wouldn't even be an issue this week. Still, he was glad to see the common room empty when he got there, and he set to the task of getting breakfast started. Because Katy'd mentioned it, he even thought of doing French toast, since apparently Nina made her some (and it had involved cabbage!), but everyone knew French toast was just a waste of time, so fuck all that. He was sticking with the standards: pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, so on, so forth. And he had something to do, and it was productive, and so he was feeling pretty alright.

[[ if it's breakfast, it's open! ]]

Barnabas wasn't there because Barnabas had been sent on a very important diplomatic mission to the Dreamrealm. The Corinthian had shown up in a place The Corinthian was not allowed and for all her brother was new, that was just Not On and Delirium wanted to have A Conversation about this little faux pas.

Lucien had convinced her that possibly having the conversation in person was not, at this time, the best of all potential ideas. He'd suggested sending Barnabas in her stead and so Barnabas had gone to speak to Dream.

He was worried about his small mistress. She'd been left alone for days. Leaving her alone for minutes was dangerous enough so he had no idea what he'd be returning to once he got back. That was worrisome indeed.

Delirium knew he was gone but she knew where he was and she knew where she was and that meant everything was perfectly A-OK and nothing could go wrong because everything was right.

"I'm happy!" she chirped, "It's Monday! There are pancakes and you are making them! It is a proper Monday!"

Even if Barnabas wasn't there.
