Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [09/30].

Well, now, that was an exciting weekend. It wasn't every day that a simple Letterkenny farmboy found himself on the edges of creatin' what he could only imagine would be quite the international incident. And Wayne found he didn't really much care for excitement, anyway, so, while he really was going to miss having Katy around, he was mostly just glad to have things go back to normal again.

Normal fer this place, anywhey.

He got up a little extra early this morning, too, jus' in case he had to go and beat Nina to the punch, not realizing that it wouldn't even be an issue this week. Still, he was glad to see the common room empty when he got there, and he set to the task of getting breakfast started. Because Katy'd mentioned it, he even thought of doing French toast, since apparently Nina made her some (and it had involved cabbage!), but everyone knew French toast was just a waste of time, so fuck all that. He was sticking with the standards: pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, so on, so forth. And he had something to do, and it was productive, and so he was feeling pretty alright.

"Or get yourself killed," Lana said. "Congratulations, we both survived." She plopped down next to Vette. "I really thought I was prepared for Darth Vowrawn, as much as anybody could be. I had two, Vette - two Dark Council members here to see me!" She was still a bit shellshocked.

"How does that even happen? You looked like you were about to try climbing up a tree in hopes of losing them over the weekend," Vette noted, still faintly amused.

"If I'd thought that would have worked, I would have!" Lana declared, burying her face in her hands and laughing. "I honestly don't know. Darth Vowrawn came last year, and that was enough of a surprise. At least he's easy to talk to, even if you do have to watch yourself. Darth Marr is...Darth Marr."

He was as high as you got, bar the Emperor.

If the Emperor ever showed up here, Lana was going to curl up in a corner and scream.

Her and basically everyone else on the island who knew the significance of the guy!

"Well, yeah. Darth Smirky and Darth Poopypants came here to show that they caaaaaare," Vette teased. "Or else the stuffy one decided that this place was interesting enough to warrant a visit. I mean, the summer was... sure something."

"I'm hoping that's all it is," Lana said. "The summer, I mean. Making sure it's safe. The last thing any of us need is the head of the Dark Council taking an interest. And I am, by the way, completely ignoring the things you just called them, for the record."

"I didn't call them anything at all," Vette replied, looking positively angelic. "But yeah. The summer was pretty huge. That's got to be it."

"Here is definite hoping," Lana said. "So, apart from dodging my visitors, how was your weekend? Plenty of things to do and food to have?"

"Well... There was food," Vette replied, shrugging. And then sighing. "My guests couldn't make it. It wasn't great."

Lana offered her a smile. "I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you can go home to visit them soon?"

"Yeah, maybe," Vette agreed. "I'll probably aim for a weekend or something, once Nina gets back. We pass off petsitting duties, you know? I wouldn't trust Dozy or Foomy on Nar Shaddaa."

They'd get eaten by a Hutt.

"Where has Nina gone?" Lana asked.

"Off on a thing," Vette replied, shrugging. "She left me a text, but she left Foomy with me, so she'll probably be back before too long, you know?"

Lana nodded. "She wouldn't leave her...whatever he is, behind."
