Shuri was still fully grown and while she wasn't Wayne and didn't have his skill with pancake making, she could toast the heck out of a frozen waffle.

Come on down, small children who shouldn't be left unsupervised near the stove! Auntie Shuri will let you put on allllll the maple syrup.

Wayne squinted at Nina for a moment, head turning a little bit more toward her.

"Yeth," he said. "Both'ovem. But what'sth that gotsth do do with the prithe of LEGO at the doller thore?"

"MAYBE ONLY KIDS WITH PARENTS ARE LISTENED TO?????????????????" she suggested, having no idea what LEGO or a dollar store was but getting the gist of the question anyway. "NO ONE LISTENS TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

She was old enough to notice and do her best to fix it, but too little to really have developed much of a complex about it yet.
