Second floor common room- Wednesday evening

This had been the strangest day Harry had had since he was here, and he'd gone to the common room to decompress. Maybe watch something. Maybe talk to people.

And what happened was he decided he was gonna get on a broom and play Quidditch in the common room sooooooo there was that.

"What are you even talking about?" Clare asked.

Sakaki....honestly didn't know.

And now Sakaki had a baseball mitt, a ponytail, and a friend.

"Um," she looked down at the mitt and then.lifted it demonstrably as she asked, "do you have a ball?"

Apparently they were going to play catch?

And she doubted Osaka had one.

Though it was incredibly strange that Osaka was even there...

Clare gave her a little smile. "I don't!"

The ball didn't matter any more because now there was a dolphin in the common room, one that Sakaki was riding.

Did Osaka become the dolphin? How was Sakaki riding it in the common room without water?

This was a very strange dream, she reasoned, but she did feel pretty amazing getting to ride a dolphin in it.

"Erm, how is there a dolphin in the common room?" Clare asked.

[kawaii_complex]

"That's a good question," said Sakaki, tucking a tray against her hip and ready to go work at some sort of cafe, by the look of the uniform.

No explaining the stuffed cat on the top of her head, but she hoped that, unlike the dolphin, stayed.

"I think we might be in a dream of some kind..."

"I was at the park and my teammate crawled through a window in the middle of the park!"

Sakaki's head tilted, resting her chin on her fist.

"Right in the middle of the park?" she asked, trying to picture it.

She and her teammate had mostly just discussed whether or not they were participating, and yet still somehow managed to win.

"On the very first event!" Clare said. "And then I had to sit in pudding!"

"P...." Eyes wide with surprise, Sakaki reach out toward Clare. "Pudding?"

"CHOCOLATE PUDDING!" Clare said aggresively.

[kawaii_complex]

"Ch...chocolate pudding?"

Oh, no, Clare! The story just kept getting more shocking and terrible!

Clare was just going to smile through the pain. Apparently.

"It was not a highlight."

Sakaki's face flushed red as she regarded Clare with a newfound respect and maybe a little bit of awe for that brave effort to just smile through such a trauma.

"You seem to have handled it gracefully," she said with approval.

"And now I want to read my book!"
