Second floor common room- Wednesday evening

This had been the strangest day Harry had had since he was here, and he'd gone to the common room to decompress. Maybe watch something. Maybe talk to people.

And what happened was he decided he was gonna get on a broom and play Quidditch in the common room sooooooo there was that.

He was already forgiven because a plate of pancakes had just appeared in front of Belle.

"Ooh, pancakes!"

"Where did those come from?" Harry said, deeply worried.

"The same place as this dress?" Belle said.

She had no idea, Harry.

[imawizard]

"It's a great dress, though," Harry told her, smiling. Which was smoother than anything he had ever said in his life.

"Why, thank you," Belle said, smiling. And still wearing the gown because that's what the icon gods decreed.

"It's very yellow," he said, now standing next to Dumbledore for some reason.

"Where did that old man come from?" Belle asked, loudly.

No, she didn't mean Five.

"Maybe he Apparated!" Harry said, into this idea. "I have no idea what's going on today."

Belle, tiny once more, smiled and nodded in agreement. "I don't know what that means but perhaps he did!"

"Why do you keep getting younger?" Harry asked, displeased.

[noonedecidesmyfate]

"Why don't you?" Belle snapped in return.

[imawizard]

"How should I know?" Harry said, crabby. "I'm clearly not in charge here."

Belle, back to being small yet again, considered that.

"Clearly," she agreed.

"This is what I'm saying," Harry said with a sigh.

"We'll manage somehow," Belle said stoically.

[imawizard]

"I guess," Harry angsted.

[noonedecidesmyfate]

"You don't think we will?" Belle asked after taking a swig of her mysteriously disappearing and reappearing ale and showing off her adorable chipmunk cheeks.

"Not really," said Harry, sullen. "Not that it matters."

Time for another drink.

"Perhaps you need a drink," Belle suggested.

[imawizard]

"Last time you offered that, I kissed you and you got mad."

Sure, remind her of that.

Time for more tiny side-eye, Harry.

"Well, don't make me mad then!"

[imawizard]

"I didn't try to!" Harry returned. "And this is really weird when you keep turning young."

[noonedecidesmyfate]

"You don't need to look at me if it bothers you," Belle pointed out snippily (even though she was the one who came in to this room after he was already here), giving Harry a look she normally reserved only for Five.

[imawizard]

"Oh! No, you're not bad to look at. In fact you're really nice to look at," Harry said.

It was just weird when she kept turning little!

"Thank you," tiny Belle said politely.
