Second floor common room- Wednesday evening

This had been the strangest day Harry had had since he was here, and he'd gone to the common room to decompress. Maybe watch something. Maybe talk to people.

And what happened was he decided he was gonna get on a broom and play Quidditch in the common room sooooooo there was that.

"Of course," Tiny Lana said, giving Nell a look like she was crazy.

"We get along great we'uns do," Nell said cheerfully as she played with a random ring thingy.

"Best roommates!" Lana pulled her into a hug, smiling.

[mylandmyrules]

"M'not sure either of we'uns is really the hugging type," Nell said consideringly. But she hugged Lana back anyway.

"I'm definitely not," Lana said firmly, throwing lightning at the wall in frustration. "This island!"

"Um... I think that might be a little bit of an overreaction," Nell said calmly. "Just look at those scorch marks. I'm not cleanin' those."

"I wouldn't expect you to," Lana said, giving Nell a bit of a side-eye. "I wonder if they'll even be there tomorrow, the way things go."

"It does suddenly seem more outdoorsish than usual," Nell said wistfully from the rock she was sitting on across the... green.

Lana sighed. "I wish everything would stay the same for a while, though."

"Are you sure it isn't still the same?" Nell asked innocently.

"I'm fairly sure, yes," Lana answered wryly. "Don't tell me you haven't noticed?"

"Of course I have!" Nell giggled. "Isn't it fun!"

"No!" Lana's eyes welled with tears. "I just want it to stop!"

"Gosh, I'm sorry," Nell said, looking rather worried.
