Outside the dorms- fire drill o'clock Thursday morning

You know, it'd been a while since the students had been roused from their beds to go stand outside in the middle of the night while the building around them screamed at them. Tonight was a good night to fix that.

So at exactly 3:00 am, the fire alarms in the dorms began going off, leaving you all to do just that.

Belle had kept her pajamas from last weekend. They were cute! So she was owl and book-clad as she made her way outside, a bit bewildered at what was actually happening here.

"It's the middle of the night," she protested to nobody in particular.

"Has this happened before?" Harry wondered, wandering over, feeling like she would know maybe.

"Not that I've experienced," Belle said, glaring a bit at the dorms. What a betrayal!

"Oh, imagine if it had done this in the winter when I first arrived!"

"I'm sure they wouldn't do that."

Harry.

This island hates all of you.

They were absolutely doomed to some sort of terrible winter fire drill where they all froze in inappropriate attire now.

"I didn't think they'd do this!"

"Fine, be right about that," Harry said, good-naturedly as one could manage at 3 am. "Maybe it won't go on that long."

"I hope not," Belle said, looking longingly in what she thought was the direction of her room and her bed. "This is not an hour I'm used to seeing awake."

"It should be illegal," Harry agreed.

Why was it not, really.

"It should!" What a good idea, Harry. "Can we make that happen?"

[imawizard]

"I don't know, it's three in the morning," he answered.

[noonedecidesmyfate]

"Maybe after we've all slept we'll have an idea."

Or they'll have forgotten about making 3 AM illegal by then.

"Do you think we're actually sleeping after this?" He felt like his ears might be ringing for a while until his alarm went off.

"I am trying," Belle said, "to be optimistic."

[imawizard]

"Okay. Then we can definitely make a law later today," he agreed.

He didn't know how those happened here.

"Good." Honestly, in Fandom maybe students could just make laws? Had anyone ever tried before?

"We'll rest first. Even if we can't sleep."
