Second floor common room- Friday morning

Harry wasn't huge on caffeine but he was kind of dragging some by now. It also hasn't occurred to him that there was maybe a spell or something that would take care of this. More than likely the letter he'd sent back to Hermione this week complaining would get a response of "if only you had tried ____" the day after this ended.

For now though he was contemplating a chocolate Pop Tart in the kitchen. Chocolate had caffeine, right? Did chocolate count? Would this help? Would he try either way? (Yes, no, no, yes.)

"Yes," Libby confirmed, with a look that let him know he wasn't convincing her with that innocent act. "Fruit. Healthy, easy, much better for you than what's probably in those..."

But he was a teenaged boy and already digging in, so she wasn't expecting she'd win this one, so she just added, "I'm also going to make some eggs and pancakes, if you'd like some."

"Sure... that sound good" Kurt said a bit awkwardly. "Can I... do you need any help?"

"Sure," said Libby. "You can help by telling me how you like your eggs."

He'd done so much cooking for her so far, she was not going to lose out on this opportunity to make it up to him!

Kurt gave her a smile. "Sunny side up please!" he said with a grin.

And it felt both nice and a little odd to be the one waiting on someone else to be doing the cooking for a change. But it was good to get to catch up with Libby.

"You recovered from the trip alright?" he asked. "I've got some great photos to send to you still as well.. Including the ones from that rhino adventure of ours" he said in a somewhat hushed voice.

Imagine how Libby felt! As far as she was concerned, it felt much more proper that she was the one doing the cooking, really. She couldn't help being amused and maybe a little unsurprised that Kurt had said sunny-side up, and she quickly got to work on the pancake batter.

And grinned over at his question. "Oh, you have to send me that picture at least!" she agreed, also dropping her voice to a clandestine whisper. "No one is going to believe me otherwise! And I still can't believe that whole trip was even real! If it weren't for everyone else having something to say about it, too, I'd still be convinced it was all a dream!"

"Definitely!" Kurt promised. "I will email them to you and can also see about getting some printed out if you want. I was thinking of making a collage on one of the walls in mine and Guillermo's room. Photos from all the adventures I have here at Fandom. Can easily print out a few duplicates from the trip for you if you would like." He paused and gave Libby a grin. "Help us both remember this isn't all just some amazing dream!"

"A collage is a great idea, Kurt!" Libby said, grinning back. "That would really look amazing, I'll bet. But please, yes, send me as many of those pictures as you can, I'd love to see them."

Maybe she could even put a few up on her own wall? That seemed to be the thing the people did around here, although she didn't know what else she would decorate with. They kept things very simple and plain back home, nothing like collages or anything except in the classroom, maybe a few drawings on the fridge....

....definitely nothing like what Vi decorated with! Which her mind apparently couldn't help wandering to, turning her cheeks a little flushed and she tried, instead, to focus on those pancakes....

"Deal. And when I get that collage finished and the trip pictures up you can come over and see it!" Kurt said with a wink.

Had he forgotten how flustered Libby had been last time she had been over for a few minutes? Maybe, maybe not.
