The Gym, Monday Afternoon

Illyria had been less than pleased by finding that no one worth sparring with had been available yesterday due to how late her player pinged into that thread, shh, but she supposed she had managed some of that much-advised 'socialization' at least. Still, words, even exchanged with fellow demons, were no substitute for hitting things, no matter what the demon in question might believe, so. Here she was. At the gym.

Where there was, as Cal had promised, a punching bag. There was also a music system, and the science wasn't so advanced that she couldn't figure out how to load in Pure Disco 1.

At first I was afraid, I was petrified...

The music was nonsensical, but there was something about the words and the beat that made punching and kicking a stationary bag of sand the tiniest bit more satisfactory.

Thinkin' I could never live without you by my side....

The punching bag might not agree. Then again, it also might not survive the experience, so its opinions were of relatively low value to Illyria.

[OOC: Open like a box without a cat in it! P.S. I has a squishee. Mostly Red.]

The Second Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

Karla was nervous. Well, that wasn't much of a surprise. Karla had been nervous all day. But this was a new and different kind of nervous. Now, she was about to host a party, which she had never done, in a world that was still foreign to her, and for many girls she did not know very well. It was enough to unsettle even the strongest nerves.

Still, she though she was ready. Dinah had promised to provide her laptop for movies. Karla and Gabrielle had gone to Turtle's and purchased lots of moddable snacks, sodas, and lots of candy and chocolates. She'd bought make-up, since Dinah had mentioned it's importance in such matters, plenty of blankets and pillows to share, and several other sundries because she wasn't entirely certain what else would be needed, and wished to be prepared. Also, lots of booze, from her private Kaeleeran stash.

Most importantly, there was a small, neatly lettered sign on the door that said 'No Males Please.'

Well, she was as ready as she was ever going to be. "Kiss kiss," she muttered.

[Give me a second for the OCD, please. OCD is ready to party! Sorry for the repost! Wrong LJ.]

JQ Adams Campfire, Tuesday Lunch Time!

One thing Jon loved about camping, was cooking outdoors. And he really wasn't in the mood for sandwiches and stuff for lunch, so after his morning class, Jon had stopped by the Kwik Stop and bought several packages of hot dogs and buns and a cooler to dump everything in. When he got back to the cabin, Jon started up the campfire and got to work on roasting the hot dogs. Not all at once, mind you, but he did remember to put a rather small sign on the front of the cabin (made out of notebook paper and marker) that said 'Free Lunch'.

[ooc: open to everyone]
