In the third floor common room

Rory wanders into the common room, holding a cup of coffee and a stack of flyers. She also has a bag of "Vote Rory!" buttons and "RG for SR" ribbons thrown over her shoulder.

She flops down on the couch after pinning up a few flyers, and starts absently flipping through the channels.

"I'll only be okay if I lose to the cat," Rory says, pouting. "Because seriously, only thing cuter and more lovable than me is a kitty."

*rolls eyes* Kitty might be cute, but believe me, the little bastard is not lovable. He's still got Julian's prickly personality in there.

"But still. He's a little kitty cat. It's like...if you turned Angelus into a puppy, he'd still be Angelus, but everyone would coo over him and try to play fetch with him. Somehow, I can't picture anyone trying to scratch his belly as he is now."

Rory tries very hard to keep her face straight, but loses and starts laughing as well.

"Aw, now I really want Angelus to be a puppy," she says through giggles. "He'd be so indignant"

"I know! Much more so than indignant vampires."

Unless they're indignant vampire puppies, in which case they're weird an' adorable, an' you have to get a muzzle.

"And keep them away from all cross-shaped chew toys."

*nods, sending her ponytail bobbing* That too! An' whatever you do, don' feed 'em garlic!

"And keep him out of sunlight, because dustpuppies are not half as much fun," Rory says solemnly.

A dustpuppy would be sad.

An' you haveta be careful when you play fetch with a stick.

"Make sure it's not too pointy," Rory adds, nodding wisely. "And he wouldn't do that cute thing where puppies are confused by their reflection."

"Yeah...one of few, though. I kind of want a vampire puppy now. I wonder where I'd get one."

I wouldn' be surprised if one wandered out of Special Collections claimin' to be Professor Hellboy tomorrow.

Oh, we're way too squallin' young for baby humans.

"Exactly. My mom had me when she was sixteen, and as a result - or it could be completely unrelated - I have a total fear of babies."

[ooc: I really want to get her one, now. I'm tempted to have someone give her a puppy for her birthday, and then ask Angelus to bite it.]

Sixteen? Wow. I'm sixteen. I don' know what I'd do with a baby.

Which is probably why m'parents drilled into all of us to use multiple forms of birth control...
