Done with studying for the day, Marty grabs the sofa and turns on the Gelmoore Gals with a bowlful of popcorn and a couple of ice cold sodas.

This episode is quite amusing for Marty because it's the one where Joss gets attacked by a duck.

"Hey." Janet plopped down on the sofa and started rummaging through her backpack for her licorice. "What's on?"

"Gelmoore Girls. Joss got attacked by a duck. He has a black eye and Ronnie doesn't believe him. Popcorn?" Marty asks offering the bowl.

"Ooh, thanks," said Janet. She pulled a bag of licorice out of her backpack and held that out. "Licorice?" she asked as she took a handful of popcorn.

"So I don't follow this show. Who the heck are Ronnie and Joss?" She stared at the screen. "And what's up with the attack duck?"

"I'll second that on the duck," Parker said, unwinding her scarf from around her neck. She nodded to Janet. "Hey."

"Okay Lorraine and Ronnie are the Gelmoore Gals. Lorraine got pregnant when she was sixteen and raised Ronnie on her own away from her fabulously wealthy but annoying parents. Joss is Ronnie's annoying boyfriend, who she left Gene for. Joss is also Duke's nephew. Duke owns the local diner and Lorraine and him have a passionate but unrequited love."

Parker sat down, blinking. "Okay. So where does the duck come in?"

"That sounds oddly familiar dramatic," said Janet. She held her bag of licorice out to Parker. "Want some? It's the good strawberry kind."

"Thanks. Yum." Parker took a few, and popped on in her mouth. "Is Zero around?"

Belthazor passed through the second floor common room, peering into corners and at unoccupied chairs.

"Did your invisible friend go missing?" asked Janet.

"You haven't seen two kittens, have you?" Bel asked. "One black one, one white one? They got out of the room somehow. Phoebe's pretty upset."
