This is Totally Not a Prelude To Mischief - Room 227, Monday Evening

Following his rather awkward encounter with Cameron in the common room earlier, Anders has spent several hours wandering around campus (trying to avoid his girlfriend, as horrible as that sounds). But now, he's hanging out in room 227 with Bridge, checking out the myriad shiny new techie toys that his best buddy has gotten for Christmas.

They may or may not have a plan to test some of these things out on RIC later on.

The door is open, in case anyone who's similarly not plotting mischief cares to stop on by.

Fully recovered from her earlier hangover, Callisto wandered past room 227. She was not the least bored or in the mood to plot mischief.

"Hey Cal!" Bridge said, waving cheerfully, wrench in hand. "Come on in!"

"Hey, what's happening?" Kawalsky was without his Santa costume today. Thank goodness.

"Kawalsky!" Anders waved at him with a cupcake in hand. "Not much, dude, just checkin' out some of Bridge's Christmas loot. Very tools-centric. ABC Damage Control could do a whole bunch of new stuff now, in between what he got and what Cally got!"

Bored, Rory wandered through the second floor until she came to Bridge's open door.

Poking her head in, she said, "Hi. Whatcha doing?"

"Hi Rory!" Bridge says, and gestures at the myriad mechancial parts and tools littering the floor. "Nothin' much, just messin' around with all the stuff I got this week," he grins, "I'm thinking of trying to upgrade RIC, now that I have the proper tools for it."

Deciding to get started on the upgrading, Bridge leans over to RIC and flips the power switch.

"Hey, someone wanna hand me the screwdriver?"

"Oh! Oh! Right here!" Eager to be of use, Anders bounces up and grabs the screwdriver, then carries it over to Bridge. "Here you go, dude."

For absolutely no reason, Lockheed was flying past 227. With a box of cookies. A rather large box of cookies.

He may have picked up on a sense of mischief as he was flying by. He may have pondered that a bunch of kids hopped up on sugar was just what this place needed.

He definitely knocked on the door.

"I'll get it!" Anders springs to his feet and opens the door (well, further than it was already open) and grins. "Hey, Lockheed! What's up, little buddy? Hey, cookies!"

He fumbles for the new, enhanced Palm Pilot Bridge gave him for Christmas and dispenses a handful of jujubes from it, then offers them to Lockheed. "Come on in, dude. Everybody'll love the cookies. People always do."

Upon getting back to the dorms, Jaye sits in her room for five minutes before deciding she's bored. And while wandering, she hears voices. Lots of voices. Yay!

"Hey," she says from the doorway. "What's up?"

"Tyler!" Anders waves. "Come on in. We're tryin' to upgrade RIC (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/341335.html?thread=12542295#t12542295) with some of Bridge's Christmas tools!"

"Officer Lion-Girl-Jaye!" Bridge says as he sees Jaye. "What they said!"

"Hi Jaye!" Rory says brightly with a wave. "How was your Christmas?"

Lockheed certainly didn't toss a cookie at to Jaye. In a friendly manner, of course.

Bored out of his mind, Archie wanders up to the second floor in search of something to do, and hears the voices coming out of the open door of room 227.

"Hello," he says, poking his head in. "What on earth are you all up to?" He might be blushing just a bit when he notices Jaye in the room.

"Hi...Archie, right?" Rory says, waving and grinning. "What's new? I haven't seen you in forever."

"Not much, not much at all," Bridge says, a little wide-eyed. He leaps up and grabs Archie's arm and pulls in into the room. "Come in, sit down, have a cookie!" he grins.

Jaye waves, and there's no blushing, but maybe a tiny little smile.

Cally, who has possibly been trying to find Anders all day, finally wanders down to room 227 and sticks her head in the doorway.

"Hello? Bridge? You seen Anders anywhere? I swear, it's like he's avoiding me or something."

Anders looks up sheepishly. "Erm. Hi, coach?"

Rory waves to Cally. "How was your Christmas, Cally?"

"Okay," Bridge says, addressing everyone in the room. "Jaye's got an idea, and I think I'm thinking what she's thinking, so I want to know if anyone else is thinking what we're thinking, and if you think we should do it. So- what do you think?"

"I don't even know what the idea is," protests Archie. "Now, if someone could kindly sum it up for me, I could give you a clearer answer."
