First Floor Lobby, Tuesday evening
The Tick and Lockheed were in their normal seats in the lobby. In front of them was a large tray with cookies on it. In front of the tray was a sign that said, "COOKIES! Please Take!"
Tick turned to Lockheed. "You see?" he asked. "You have to watch the junk food or you'll feel sick again. Not even dragons can eat that many cookies without feeling it."
Lockheed looked up from where he was curled on the couch and grunted.
The Tick nodded as if he understood what Lockheed said, then replied, "Well, sure, if you were a giant dragon, you could eat ten times that many cookies without a problem. But you're not a giant dragon, Lockheed. As dragons go, you're kind of wee."
Lockheed grumbled noncommittally.
[OOC: Cookies for anyone who wants them. Interaction also for anyone who wants it.]

"Oh hey, Professor... BlueBug."
Well, shit. That wasn't it, was it? Oh well. Turn on the charm.
"Those cookies look totally awesome."

"And it's Professor Tick," he corrected while smiling.

She took a cookie, and smiled while taking a bite. Lilly waved at Lockheed, "Hi, I'm Lilly. Sorry, I don't speak Dragon. Maybe they'll offer it next semester? If they do I will so sign up," she offered cheerfully.
"Did you two have a nice holiday?"
no subject
"Don't worry about him," Tick said. "He's a little grumpy. My holiday was just fine! It was nice and quiet here for once. Thank you for asking, Lilly!"

[OOC: I'm being sprung from work yay. Be back in an hour or so.]

"Lockheed seems to just celebrate whatever will bring him more presents."
Lockheed grunted as if there should be nothing wrong with that.

"Hello, Professor. Hello, Lockheed. How are you this evening?" he asked, bowing slightly and taking a cookie.

Lockheed grinned at Archie. He wondered if there might be any mischief encouraged by sugar tonight.

To Lockheed, he offered a wink and added, "Your company, and the cookies, were a pleasure. I'm still rather tired from last night's mischief, but I certainly wouldn't be averse to any that might cross paths with me tonight."
no subject
Lockheed nodded to Archie. If there was mischief to be had, he'd be supplying the cookies.

"How have your holidays been, Archie?" Tick asked as he reached over and helped himself to a cookie. Lockheed glared at him.

He munched on the cookie for a moment before answering the Tick's question. "Fairly quiet, I suppose. I've spent them alone, mostly, although there was last night, and one or two other encounters with students. That's also a habit I think I should cultivate. Too much solitude can do funny things to the brain, it seems. But enough of that. How have your holidays been, sir?"

He fell silent for a moment, the question of where a snowman would get an enchanted hat having proved too enticing to resist. "But if he depended on the hat to be animate, how on earth did he acquire it in the first place?"

"But, metaphorically speaking," Tick said, perking up, "when the Snowball of Justice melts, the Watery Runoff of Justice evaporates and eventually becomes the Precipitation of Justice, soaking Evil when it's least expected!"

Lockheed rolled his eyes at Tick. Yes, he understood what Tick was talking about. That doesn't mean he cares, though.

"You did just fine when you showed up! Your absences were your only problem, Archie. Just be sure to focus next semester and you'll do just fine in all of your classes, I'm sure!"

Looking a little more at ease than he had all night, Archie took one more cookie, smiled at both Lockheed and the Tick one more time, and wandered outside to look at the stars.
