The Gym, Sunday Afternoon
Cally has wandered her way down to the gym. She's done enough fiddling with her new tools, reading, etcetera. The kickball game had sadly proven her athletic inadequacies. She was going to fix that.
She starts with running laps around the gym. After that, she would go to the weight room, and after that, she's grabbed one of Anders' Pyramid balls and plans to mess about on the court a bit.
No way the best Pyramid player on campus was gonna have a pipsqueak weakling for a girlfriend.
[[It's a public place. Feel free to stop in!]]

He just stands there and shoves his hands in his pockets for a minute or two, watching her and grinning.

"Nope. Not at all. Why? You didn't, you know... think I sucked too, did you?"

He leans over and kisses the top of her head. "Silly Shortstop. Any time you wanted to come down and play with me, you coulda asked, y'know."

Blushing furiously, he whispers in her ear, "What makes you think I'd feel bad about it?"

"Erm, why is there a Christmas tree where one of the goals should be?"

Anders follows Cally's gaze and goes completely, totally bug-eyed. Then the hyperventilating starts.
"That? Is not part of my Pyramid court. That? Is a tree. Trees do not belong on a Pyramid court." He runs up toward it and starts poking at it, yelping as he gets stabbed by the needles -- yep, definitely a tree.
He turns around to look at Cally, panicky and maybe more than a little bit ready to cry. "What happened to my Pyramid court?!?"

In the Weight Room
"Okay. Um. How about we start with some really simple arm curl stuff with the free weights?" he asks, gesturing toward the rack. "Don't start with anything too heavy. You want the reps, and if your weights are too heavy you'll tire out before you get enough reps in."

He shows her a few basic exercises and explains what muscles they work, then sits back on his bench and takes a dumbbell for himself. "Okay. Let's do ten reps of each and then switch hands. Sound good?"
