The Lobby: Unofficial Campus Tour.

Marty comes downstairs with Sydney Bristow in order to give her a tour of the dorms and campus.

"Okay first things first. Each floor has a common room with a TV, kitchen and general lounging area. For some reason everyone gravitates to the 2nd floor lounge, but that's probably because we're the coolest floor."

[OOC: Open to anyone. Marty will be giving his warped view of things about campus and town]

"You can post go to any common room. Unless someone is still there. Often times someone is already there doing stuff. It's usually a place to hang and interact with other students when your bored or need something to do."

Still roaming around campus, Angela is surprised to see Marty. She runs up to give him a hug.

"Hi," she says. Then, registering the brunette: "Sydney? I didn't know you were coming back."

Marty returns the hug and a quick kiss. "Hey you. Actually this isn't the same Sydney. So Syd? Meet your former roommate who wasn't your roommate."

Marty then curses the multi-dimensional weirdness that is Fandom high.

"Good, 'cause I didn't want to move the furniture again," Angela says. "I hope the other Syd is okay, though. And the baby."

She turns to not-her-roommate Sydney. "Hi, I'm Angela. I used to live with, um, the other you. So you're new here?"

Nadia wanders slowly down the stairs until she spots Marty talking with two other girls. Figuring this must be The tour he invited her on, she hurries over to join them.

"Hey, I didn't miss too much, did I?"

Mac, looking a little bored is wandering the dorms when she notices a small group in the lobby. She wanders up to the nearest member of the group.

"You guys doing anything exciting? I'm in need of entertainment."

Aeryn's wet when she passes through the lobby. And of course there are people there.

Nadia spots the creepy quiet girl who'd nodded at her the night before, and keeping up with tradition, nods.

She decides not to ask why she's wet.

"Aeryn! Want to come on the tour?"

Sam crossed the lobby, heading for outside and a walk to clear her head. She stopped when she spotted Aeryn dripping her way across the lobby.

"Do I want to know?"

She turned around and spotted Marty, Angela, and a bunch of new students she hadn't yet met. "Er, hi. I'm Sam Carter."

Marty starts walking the group through the hall.

"First of all, I'm sure some of you have heard about the gremlins in the dorm. They are nasty little things with sharp teeth and trust me you don't want to get bitten. When that happens be prepared for total humiliation."

"When bitten a couple of things can happen. One: You'll tear off all your clothes and run around like a loon. Two: You'll dress and act like someone else and act like a loon. Three: You'll just act like a maniac."

"The best way to deal with a gremlin is either to run away or smash it quickly before it bites you."

As Victor stepped off the elevator, he noticed what looked like a tour. Quickly, he joined the crowd, hoping that it ended somewhere where there was food.

"Should we be carrying around blunt objects, then?" Nadia tilts her head. She's still not ENTIRELY sure if everyone is joking about the gremlins or not.

Marty walks down a hallway of lockers and stops everyone before they go any further.

"See that Locker over there? That's Locker 327. It's some sort of weird dimensional thing. Do go in there unless you really want to be lost in time and space."

Or if you need an excuse to be AFK for a couple of days.

As if on cue, the locker opens up and spits out dozens of pairs of legwarmers in various colors. It then slams shut again and remains so as the students go on their way.

Victor noted the locker, and decided to just stay away from any locker starting with the number 300. Unless they assigned lockers by room number. Then that would be very bad...

Marty is walking down the hall after the Locker episode and runs into a woman with blond hair.

"I'm sorry, can I help you?"

Rita quirked a brow.

"I'm sorry, darling boy. I didn't realize I was in need of being helped."

If anyone were paying enough attention to notice this sort of thing, they would see a bright green quill scratching back and forth across a piece of wrinkled, old-looking paper.

Next Stop: Danger Shop.

Marty leads the tour group down another hallway and they run into MacGyver who is working on what looks to be a highly sophisticated technology device.

"Hey kids! I'm MacGyver and I'm the shop teacher around here. Shop class is a little different from your typical high school. Here we use some holographic technology to put you in different types of situations and then use the materials around you to find a solution to that problem."

Mac pulls out a remote and fiddles with it and the shop classroom suddenly becomes a sunny beach with palm trees.

Following along on the tour, Sam stopped to talk to Mac. "Hey boss. Need anything done before classes gear up for the next semester?"
