Second Floor Common Room [Come one, come all.]
After waiting in his room for Carter for over an hour Jack decides that he must've been blown off. Either that or that she's working on something and still thinks she has "two more minutes."
Either way Jack has decided to go watch some TV to take his mind off it all.
"Ooh hey, Jon Smith. Huh. That kinda looks like the librarian."

Peter may have shown a little bit of panic at Parker's question. But very little because even he couldn't spoil a secret identity this quickly, right? "Huh? Other? I'm human. We have others?"

"Mutants, vampires, and wizards are old hat to me. I'm from New York," Peter said. And in his dimension, all three were indeed common in NYC. "Professor Tick?"
"Yeah, I guess Anakin is my Big Brother. I'm assuming that means that he's showing me the ropes and not that he'll be watching everything I do, right?" He couldn't be sure about that at this point.

"Professor Trick is a professional superhero. He teaches Criminal Justice. I'm hoping to get into his class this term."

"Wait, we have a superhero on campus?" Peter asked, laughing a little at the irony of his asking that question. "Huh. This place feels more and more like home every minute."

"And yeah, your room is private, and so are some of the offices, but mostly? We try to remember that at any moment a big white ball could come for us if we misbehave. Or worse, the principal."
no subject
"Should I even ask what's the deal with the big, white ball? And why the principal is scarier than being attacked by a big, white ball?"

Parker's reflexes have been improving with all the throwing things at people, lately.

"Ow. I'm gonna get you one day. We'll be sitting in class and all of a sudden, WHAM! You'll get it."
