"I don't eat most of 'em! Just one or two, a day, and I get in an extra fifteen minutes on the treadmill for every cupcake I eat."

And mutters "pudgy" into her hands, though, really, Anders is not.

Anders snickers. "I'm gonna ask Cally for a second opinion, you know."

"I'm sure she loves you just the way you are," Angela sing-songs.

"He is so not pudgy." Cally nods. "I'm the pudgy one."

"That is so not true!" Anders objects. "Not pudgy. Just perfect."

Cally shrugs a little. "I'll take your word for it. But you're definitely the more athletic of us, remember?"

"Doesn't mean you don't get in your fair share of physical activity, 'specially taking gym this semester and all." He pokes Cally lightly in the stomach. "'sides, you know you can always join me on my workouts."

"Really? Then how come you never, like, invite me?" Cally crosses her arms. "Never heard you say 'I'm gonna go work out, you wanna come with?' Ever."

"Because we never RP that part out, OMG! Good point. I guess I kinda get all excited and just run off down there." Anders kicks at the floor and gives Cally a hopeful look. "I'll remember next time, 'kay? It's a standing invitation, even."

"Does that mean I can't sit down if I go with?" Cally grins. "Cause... standing invitation, and sitting, and it's funny if... okay, maybe not at all."

Anders sighs. "You are such a goofball. But you're my goofball, right?"

"The goofiest-balliest goofball ever. And totally yours." Cally rubs nose with Anders and smiles. "Love you."

"Love you too, goofiest-balliest goofball ever." Anders tickles Cally's stomach and hugs her tight. "And you are so working out with me next week, 'kay?"

"Got it. We're so gonna play Pyramid, too. Gonna kick your little contract-signing butt." Cally sticks out her tongue a little and smiles. "You'll see."

"Oh yeah?" Anders taps Cally on the nose, then kisses her forehead. "We'll just have to see about that."

His gaze drifts off somewhere in the distance for a second, and he frowns. "It's probably too soon to start worrying about how we're gonna get time together when I'm on the road, huh?"

Cally blinks a few times. "That's, like, how many years off?"

"At least three. So too far off to worry about just yet, huh?" Anders shrugs and kisses her on the nose. "Forget I said anything about it, 'kay?"

"Hey. You totally just commited yourself to us being together for the next three years. Not that I imagined that not being the case, but now I totally have to say something you have to forget. Which is... so, when are we getting married?" Cally grins, mischeviously.

Anders turns really bright red and just starts coughing.

A lot.

Cally smiles smugly, and just waits.

"I -- you -- me -- married?"

Anders hasn't squeaked and flailed this badly since the times Cally used to climb in his lap and flirt horribly with him, before they were dating.

"Are we gonna have to have a sad and crushing break-up because of your fear of commitment?" Cally looks at Anders as seriously as she can, which is rather hard given her distinct need to laugh out loud.

Anders flails and squeaks some more, and finally manages to get a hold of himself long enough to say, "Not afraid of commitment with you. Just -- not ready to think about that yet."

He ducks his head and scuffs at the floor with his toe, reaching down to take Cally's hand and play with the ring he gave her for Christmas. "Don't joke about breaking up, 'kay?"
