6th Floor [A bit later Friday evening]

Having once again conned a bunch of people into coming up here assembled a crew of intrepid adventurers, Bridge is waiting in the 6th-floor hallway, armed with a flashlight and his knapsack full of supplies.

"So you guys came up here before and found some cool stuff? That's it. I'm never sleeping again. I miss the fun stuff."

"You didn't miss Earl!" Bridge points out, "or the fish!"

Taking out a piece of paper, he writes "UPSIDE DOWN WORLD" on it and tapes it to the door of Room 610.

"Yeah, I missed it too," Cordy said, shoving a cricket bat, flashlight, and stake into her backpack.

"It's my first time up here as well. I think I've missed plenty of fun as well."

Parker, bored, decides to go along, just to see how much trouble they can get into without dying, zomg.

"So how often do you guys do this?"

"Whenever I get bored!" Bridge says. "Which is actually a lot, now that I think about it. Huh."

"Adventuring - whenever we get bored. Going to the sixth floor - this is my second time, first time adventuring up here though. The first time was to hide Earl in Hamlet's room."

Sam showed up in old jeans, boots, a t-shirt and zip front sweatshirt. Her pockets were weighed down with a swiss army knife, her lockpicks, the mini-mag light, and a small notebook and pencil, in case of a physics notetaking emergency.

She grinned. "Okay, I'm ready."

Bridge looks around at the assembled group. "I think almost everyone's here who said they were coming. Maybe we should wait a few minutes and see if anyone else shows up."

Angela has a kind of game but frozen smile on her face.

At least she won't be bored, right?

Isabel noticed Angela's expression and smiled at her. "Well, they say most of the gremlins are gone. So at least we don't have to worry about them."

Archie just happens to have been in the mood to wander all the way up to the sixth floor tonight, just in time to find all the adventurers congregating. "Are we searching for mischief again tonight, or is this a different kind of adventure?"

"We're exploring the rooms up here!" Bridge says excitedly.

Rory wandered up with a flashlight, her cellphone, her pepper spray and jell beans.

"Hi, all!"

"Hey." Parker waves. "So. How dangerous is this? Is this 'turn back now, before all hope is lost' or 'yay, quicksand'?"

Rory, who had been trying to get a signal all evening, finally managed to get her cell phone to respond.

"Yay!" She hit 3, and waited, turning away from the group.

Isabel followed the crowd, a bit nervous because she didn't have any supplies and wasn't sure what to expect.

"Hi Isabel!" Bridge grins cheerfully. "You ready?"

Molly arrived shortly after the others. "I'm here, Bridge! And I convinced Logan to join us."

Cordy waves quickly at the two of them and then looks away.

"Okay, everyone ready?" Bridge asks, hand on the doorknob.

Once everybody had taken some kind of cover, Molly began to swing the rope the way Bridge had shown her... annnd released it wrong. It didn't go as high as she wanted and arced in the wrong direction. She ducked and covered her head as it came back down.

"Sorry, sorry. I think I can get it this time." She made sure the rope wasn't tangled and threw again. The throw was a bit high, but hit the edge of the coffee table and caught on it's way back down. She tugged lightly to make sure it was set.

"Okay. I think we're ready."

Parker sent Molly a glare, then came back from where she'd ducked-and-covered, relieved. She took a look at the rope, then shaded her eyes and gazed upward. "Secure. Who wants to go first?"

Hearing some sort of commotion going on down the hall, over the hill and around the corner, Duo wanders to room 611 and sticks his head in. Seeing the climbers, he grins and waves with his good arm.

"Hey guys, good luck with that! It's that squishy armchair thing that'll get ya."

Room 611 - Top of the coffee table

Logan's arms were shaking by the time he reached the top. He pulled himself over the edge and sprawled for a moment, then stood up and looked around the room. And looked down. And stepped back from the edge. His back hit a wall.

He turned around and stared at the wall. It looked as though someone had taken random strips of wood in a variety of colors and laid them on top of each other randomly. He looked down the wall, and noticed it didn't go all the way across the table.

Kawalsky hauled himself up and onto the table, and then turned to help people up as they reached the top of the rope. He called over his shoulder. "Logan, you okay?"
