VICTORY PARTY! - Second Floor Common Room

The monsters are defeated, and Rory and Parker have been sprung from the clinic.

Both girls made brief stops in their rooms for candy, snack food and drinks, and piled everything on the counter of the common room kitchen.

The TV's on, sound muted, and the stero's blaring "We Are the Champions."

Come celebrate kicking their cold, white asses, people.

Still bundled in snow-gear, Bridge and Professor Ted wander in to the common room, followed by... Earl the minature giraffe. And RIC too, of course.

"Nah," Bridge shrugs. "We only ran in to a few of those monster-guys during our rescue-op. Mostly it was just cold and wet."

"Swerval! Thanks, Bridgey--and glad the snow monsters didn't get you. Do you need cocoa or summat?" She holds out her box. A few cookies are still rattling around in it. "Biscuit?"

Anakin didn't even blink to see a minature giraffe.

He had spent most of the day fighting snow sharks.

"Hey Bridge," he said. "Hello, Professor Logan."

"Anakin!" Bridge bounces. "Hi! How are you? You were probably out fighting monsters and stuff, right? How did it go? Did you get lots of them?"

Bridge might be just a little hyper.

Anakin grinned. "Yeah. It was very, very cool." He shivered. "Um, literally at times. Sorry. Still warming back up."

He ran a hand through his hair. "Snow sharks, just so you know, are hard to kill."

Bridge's eyes dart over to Rory, and then back at Anakin. "I'm sure you'll warm up in no time, dude. And, uh... snow sharks?"

Anakin had gotten much better at being sneaky.

He'd didn't even blush.

Much.

"Yeah, snow sharks. Made of snow, icy teeth. I think I saw Shep peeing on one of them to slow it down." He made a face. "Weird day."

"Nah," Bridge says. "Me and Callisto and Hamlet and Kawalsky found him wandering around in the woods last semester. He's been living with Professor Ted ever since."
