Cally wanders into the common room, looking a little befuddled.

"Okay, what the frak has been going on over here?"

"We lost," Rory said sadly.

"Lost what?" Cally says, confused-like.

"The Superbowl," Rory said.

"I think I've got some bowls in my room? They might not be exactly 'super', but they work," Cally replies, still lacking in comprehension.

"It's a football game," Rory explained.

"What's football?" Cally asks.

"A sport that is nothing like Pyramid, from what I can tell," Rory said.

"Actually," Anders points out, "It kind of is in a couple of ways, but you really don't want me to go into that again."

"Oh. Okay. I take it that it was an important game, or something?" Cally rubs the back of her neck. "I'm not gonna be uncool cause I missed it, am I?"

"Steelers won. But! Seahawks should have," Rory said. "Just remember that, and you'll do fine."

"Okay. Erm... why should the Seahawks have? Just so I have my bases covered, in case anyone asks," Cally says.

"Because they are from Seattle," Rory explained.

"What's so special about Seattle?" Cally asks, more than completely confused, now.

"Coach!" Anders practically bowls her over going to hug her.

"Oof. Hi champ. I take it you missed me, despite the fact I've been next door the whole time?" Cally giggles.

"Yeah? 'cause I haven't been home all day?" Anders bites his lip and gives her his best puppydog face.

"Shaaaaame," Cally says smiling. "S'okay. Some of us are responsible students and do their homework."

"I did mine," Anders objects, poking her in the stomach. "At least, I did most of it, and I don't have any classes at all tomorrow so I've got plenty of time. You gonna make me sleep out here on the couch or something now?" he asks, sticking his lip out and looking pitiful.

"Nope. Cause that would make me suffer, not just you." Cally winks.

"Yeah, well, if you didn't get your homework done, you wouldn't have gotten any snuggles tonight, you know." Anders pokes her in the stomach again and grins, wrapping his arms around her. "So I'm glad you did, 'cause it would've seriously pained me to have to withhold Cally-snuggles."

"It woulda hurt me, too. So, you have fun tonight, without me?" Cally smiles. "You were totally hitting on the girls, weren't you."

"I totally was not. Though I think I made Thrace have a TMI moment, and I did kinda tell Isabel all about you, and I kinda might have gotten really, really sappy on her. She says she has to meet you now." Anders winks, and leans in to lick Cally's ear. "Only girl I'm interested in hitting on? Right here beside me."

He frowns a little bit. "Football's weird. Kinda interesting, but weird."

"Um." Anders looks like a deer in the headlights. "That she didn't want to know about my sex life? Hey, she asked me if I 'burned off any energy' last night!"
