Angela has a beautiful copy of Handmaid's Tale to flip through, a kitty curled up next to her and purring, a fresh episode of Vanessa Saturn to watch, and soda and candy to munch on.

Yet, strangely, she is not smiling. Perhaps it is just because she isn't on the FLOOR OF AWESOME, but she seems vaguely uneasy.

Angela waved. "Hey, Xander. How's -- is Jeremiah the frog's name? The grouch here is Min."

"He's kind of bummed about Aeryn leaving," Xander said. "He thinks they had a connection. He's on crack, but I share the general sentiment."

"Aeryn's leaving?" Angela blinked. "Like, for good? How come? And how did she connect with a frog?"

"I gather in handwavy ways because Xander's mission was to cheer her up by being amusingly weird and one more repetition of the explanation of No, No Really, I Can't Just Tell Them To Fuck Off would not have accomplished that goal she got called home, and her people don't take Go To Hell for an answer," Xander said.

He glanced at Jeremiah. "And I'm not sure there was a 'connection' so much as a frog with more ambition than survival instinct."

"That sucks," Angela scowled. "I didn't really know her, but, still. Sucks."

"What's Jeremiah's ambition?"

"Yeah, I didn't know her all that well either, but she's sort of my roomie-in-law or something, since she mostly seems to live in Angel and John's room. Seemed," Xander corrected himself. "Crichton... isn't too happy about the whole thing, judging by his mood in Shop this morning."

"Jeremiah keeps giving her the come-hither frog eyes," he added, grinning slightly. "Orrr.... possibly I find it amusing to see whetehr she believes me when I tell her he is."
