Second floor common room, Sunday night

After getting back from work, Jaye stops off at her room long enough to drop her things off, then goes back to the second. Because it's the cool floor.

She takes a seat, turns on the TV, and wonders if they've still got the porn channels. Not that she wants to watch, but she figures it'd be great to freak out people passing through.

Xander peeked out from behind the pillow. Possibly at the dancer, possibly at Rory's leg, possibly at Jaye. "You stick dollar bills down thongs at home?"

Parker might be humming the theme to Bonanza in counterpoint to the Rawhide theme. Or maybe she's just humming.

The stripper might have pulled a lariat out of... well, viewers are probably still tilting their heads and trying to figure that out ... and might now be twirling it.

Parker frowned, then made a complicated little gesture with her fingers in the air, trying to work it out, then nodded. "Ahh. Nice."

She grinned. "Gosh. Whoever is doing this for us-- we thank you. From the bottom of our... whatever."

"Xander, I'm sorry, we're being insensitive," Rory said, coming to her senses. "Parker, Jaye, Xander doesn't want to watch some mostly naked guy, even if we do. Let's change it to something else, okay?"

Parker's expression was a combination of "aww", outrage, and resignation. She cocked a sardonic eyebrow at Xander. "Gosh. Sorry, Xander. Do you know what happened to the remote?"

"...no?" Xander didn't venture out from behind the pillow. Neither did the tv channel change.

The cowboy was still wearing the chaps. And his hat.

Rory was finding this very comforting.

"But...poor Xander. Pillow," Rory protested weakly. "Where's the remote?"

She didn't even try to look, though.

Xander, thinking she means that something she doesn't like (which would be good, because it would be NOT A NAKED COWBOY) has come onscreen, lowers the pillow and looks.

"ACK!!!!!"

"SEE?" Rory said to the girls. "He's uncomfortable! Change it! Poor Xander. And if we want nakey cowboys we have the internet, oh my God!"

Parker started laughing. "Isn't that what you gave Cam-boy for the ass-slapping? I think this is worth more, I really do."
