Another uneventful day in Fandom. Krycek was flipping channels and, oh, hey, MTV2. And they were actually playing music. Granted, it was the Macarena, but beggars shouldn't be choosers.

Maybe, just maybe, it wasn't the best idea to see if he could actually remember how the dance went while in the middle of the common room. But then this wouldn't be Fandom. And he was still sitting on the couch, so he could always just pretend he was just flailing at the tv...

Parker looks surprised, then embarassed, then rueful. "Um, yes? You can dye Easter eggs with Archie, maybe? I told him the same thing. Only much more suavely." She hugged herself, then said, "The offer was sincere at the time, though."

"No worries; it was only in pencil, after all." If Xander looked mildly surprised himself, that she hadn't been kidding in the first place, it's only because he was. "Unless 'dyeing Easter eggs' is the new euphemism the kids are using these days, in which case, yes, I worry about you."

Parker snickered. "No, although? You could always ask him. You never know." She looked mischevious. "Jack said he was a good kisser. If not as good as Lee."

Xander raised an eyebrow. "People around here...." He really wasn't sure how to end that sentence, though 'are crazy' and 'confuse me' were heavy contenders. He finally settled for "...sure kiss a lot."

"It's to make up for the bloodshed, angst and emo." Parker grinned. "Can't say we don't try to keep a balance."

In a blur of CK One and Versace, Parker gave him a fast kiss on the cheek and said, "Right. Late now. Bye!"

Xander absently touched his cheek and smiled as she departed. If the image of an empty calendar page -- and a bunch of its equally unpencilled neighbors-- was suddenly Kodak-crisp in his mind's eye, it was hardly Parker's fault, after all.
