Veronica and Phoebe are bustling around, making sure everything is ready for the big event.

They just hope there is some kissing.

Phoebe looked up from where she was decorating and frowned.

"V? Do you think all of them will actually kiss?"

"Well, I know I'm willing to do it just to prove a point. Logan's sick, so he won't be here. What about Bel?"

"As of last night he was going to," she said.

Veronica hid a smirk. "And I'm guessing since Cally and Kara were campaigning, they will. So at least that's something."

Phoebe laughed. "That's because Cally and Kara are just that damn awesome."

"Well, I think we're ready," Veronica said, setting up the napkins and stepping back to survey the lobby. "Let's just hope people show up!"

"There are dozens of people around you," Bel said solemnly, then he grinned. "You're hardly alone."

"There we go then. If I get completely sloshed I still won't have broken my promise, right?" Lana blinked a little. The 4 spoonfuls of yogurt she'd had for lunch weren't going to do much to slow the alcohol down.

"Oh, let's see... boyfriend who's also best friend is gone, possibly never to return, after telling me to move on with my life. Here watching people kissing and thinking of how I may never get to do that again... Yeah, feeling pretty crummy."

Lana made a face. "But the, um.. "water" is definitely helping."

Bel blinked at Lana. "I'm sure you'll get kissed again," he said.

Lana looked at him mournfully, and perhaps ever so slightly crosseyed. "You never know. I might not."

Lana borrows his "water" again for another sip then pats him gently on the arm. "You're very sweet," she says. "And yes, several of them have died after they've kissed me, which really... is kind of bad and depressing you know. Um... is that what you meant?"
