Second Floor Common Room, Sunday night.

Angela felt like spending the last few hours of her weekend around people.

So she went down to the second floor common room and found it .... empty?

Weird.

She turned on the TV and settled in, watching a rerun of Wendy the Werewolf Hunter. It was an episode about the lesbian couple; Violet and Skye were reconciling after a huge fight.

Somehow, she did not see this ending well.

"I am sigularly lacking in inspiration tonight. I'm doomed," Isabel woed.

"Hey, 'I'm doomed' is inspirational. It inspires others to be less doomed than you," Peter said.

"There you go," she said. "I've served my purpose here on earth. I might as well leave now."

"No leaving," Peter said. "Especially since 'I'm doomed' only works in a pinch. You need to work on something better."

"I've tried leaving. It didn't work out." The thank god was left unsaid. "You're stuck with me for a while."

"Good," Peter said. "Someday I might get bored of my room color and I'd hate to invest in paint."

"I'm glad I have a purpose," she laughed. "I paint for you, I fix your water balloon died clothes. I expect a nice birthday present."

"Let me know when it is, and you'll get one," Peter said.

"You have more of a rush then I do with the crowns," Isabel said. "It's the fourteenth."

"No kidding? Mine's the fifteenth," Peter said.

"And Angela's is around the same time. I remember talking to her about that," Isabel said. "I guess I need to go shopping for birthday presents as well as crowns."

"Busy week, I guess," Peter said. "By the way, yes, we did schedule poker night for my birthday. I'd better win big."

"I could always help with that. But I'm supposed to use my powers for good." She snickered, "According to my brother, changing cards to give yourself three winning hands in a row, is bad."

"Cheater," Peter said, shaking his head but smiling. "If you do that on Saturday, I'll have to kick you out."

"I wouldn't dream of it," Isabel said. "Well, unless the pot is really big. Because then I could get a you a bigger birthday present."

"Actually, we'll probably be playing with candy or something since it's a school event. But still. More candy for me."
