Second Floor Common Room, Sunday night.

Angela felt like spending the last few hours of her weekend around people.

So she went down to the second floor common room and found it .... empty?

Weird.

She turned on the TV and settled in, watching a rerun of Wendy the Werewolf Hunter. It was an episode about the lesbian couple; Violet and Skye were reconciling after a huge fight.

Somehow, she did not see this ending well.

"Well, hi there, greasy coach," Anders says, totally letting Cally get the upper hand in the pseudo-wrestling match but giving her a quick kiss on the nose in the process. "Good thing I haven't showered yet, and these are my old clothes, huh? You been workin' on something again?"

"Trying the outboard motor again," Cally says. "Third time is hopefully a charm."

"Oooh, didja get it to run?" asks Anders, still sort of halfway wrestling with her, and throwing a bit of tickling into the mix.

Cally squirms a little as she continues to wrestle. "Nowhere near done yet," Cally says between giggles.

"How's it going this time?" asks Anders as he puts up a couple of seconds' worth of token resistance and then lets Cally pin him again. "You're in a pretty good mood so I'm guessing no flying propellers or electric shocks this time. Which is good. Anyway. I missed you. Hi."

"Hi. Missed you too. So far, it just keeps squirting oil and grease everywhere, so it's no good yet. But hopefully I can get the frakking thing to behave soon." Cally grins and leans in to give Anders a big, kiss. "Squirts worse than... no, I won't say it."

"Hey!" Anders laughs and rolls over to pin Cally between the back of the couch and himself, then starts tickling her mercilessly.

Cally squeals. And flails. But not much more than that.

And common room be damned, Anders proceeds to kiss Cally completely silly right there on the couch, because she's right there and he can. "There. Now we're even."

"I didn't realize we weren't before," Cally says before rubbing noses with Anders. "But I guess it's good that we are now."

"That was me gettin' you back for the squirting comment." Anders scritches her stomach a little bit and leans his forehead against hers. "But you'll have something to get back at me for any time now, probably."

"Hey, who says that was about you," Cally says. "That's totally egotistical of you."

"Aha." Anders pokes Cally in the stomach gently. "That was me getting back at you for assuming I'd assume it was about me, see. And this is totally going to be another one of those silly arguments so I think I'd rather just make out with you instead."

Which he proceeds to start doing.

Common room, schmommon room. Cally totally starts making out right back.

A couch pillow sails over and hits Anders in the head. Parker's so not looking to get the karma that comes to those who whap Cally.

"Hey! Get a room!" Damnit.

"We have one!" Anders points out when he gets a quick break for air, looking over his shoulder and smirking at Parker. "But I'm comfy right now and I don't wanna move. Besides, this is a room."

"Pffttt." Parker's grinning, but she's semi-serious. "Get a room of your own, where those of us with off-campus boyfriends don't have to be frustrated watching you, please thanks bye. 'kay?"

"So you want us to move next door?" Cally turns to Anders. "We should totally be extra loud. And maybe do that thing up against the wall, too."

"Anders?" Parker's smile is dangerous. "I know you like to make Cally happy. But you know you don't have to make me unhappy, right?"

"Happiness is a very good thing to have in the world," says Anders, nodding solemnly, because the dangerous smile isn't lost even on him. "I'm pretty sure I can do both at the same time."

Miracle of miracles, he actually catches himself in time to add, "I mean, make Cally happy and not make you unhappy."

Parker double-takes at that, then grins. And sing-songs, "Thank you, Daisy." She lets out a long-suffering sigh. "Your understanding is much appreciated."

"Does this mean we have to stop making out now?" Cally asks.

"Just that you have to stop making out *here*. You can kiss your way out of the Common Room and down the hall, if you don't hurt yourselves," Parker said helpfully. "Don't let me stop the course of True Cute for longer than I have to."

"Aw." Anders gives her an exaggeratedly sad puppydog face. "Okay, okay. It's not like it's that far to our room from here or anything anyway."

With a sigh as exaggerated as the puppydog face, he rolls off the couch and holds out a hand to help Cally up. "So you wanna go make out some more, coach?"

Cally takes Anders' hand and stands up.

"D'uh. Yeah."

And that's exactly what they go do.
