Elizabeth made herself comfortable, a pile of prom tickets besides her, and settled down for a long day.

"It's going pretty well," Elizabeth nodded. "Don't have a final count for you yet, but we should have a decent turn out on Saturday."

"The entire school or only 90 percent of it?" Alanna asked rather amused. "And...I think I need a ticket."

"Only 90% at the moment, but I'm sure we can increase that by Saturday," Elizabeth grinned. "You only think you need a ticket?"

"Um, did Charlie Kawalsky stop by to buy tickets?" Alanna bit at her lip. "And if yes, how many?"

Alanna? Was not one to notice such things as human emotion. "Oh. Okay." She nibbled on her lip. "Then yeah, apparently not needing a ticket. You going with anyone?"
