Elizabeth made herself comfortable, a pile of prom tickets besides her, and settled down for a long day.

Elizabeth actually gets to the lobby a good fifteen minutes after it starts, carrying coffee and breakfast.

Anders passes by on his way out for a run, eyes the table, and stops for a moment.

"Hey!" he blurts out, and takes off at a sprint back toward his room. When he returns a minute or so later, he's got his wallet in hand and a slightly goofy grin on his face (is he ever going to stop grinning like a goof over this sort of thing?). "Hi, Elizabeth. Guess I'll be needing two of those."

Marty walks by Elizabeth and the pile of tickets and breaks out into a cold sweat.

Might as well get this over with.

"Hey Elizabeth. I'll take... um.... *coughs* two tickets please."

On her way down to Journalism, D'anna stops by. Prom? Wonder if this has got some weird holiday attached to it.

Might as well find out.

"This 'prom' doesn't have some sort of religious observance attached to it, does it?" She asks, warily eying the stack of tickets.

Elizabeth moved on to her copy of the New York times, frowning at the article (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/19/sports/sportsspecial/19duke.html?_r=1&oref=slogin) about Duke lacrosse players being charged with rape.

Passing through the lobby, Bel saw Elizabeth and stopped to get tickets. "Hey," he said in greeting. "I guess I need two of those."

Veronica was heading out for a *handwavy* lunch at Luke's when she spotted Elizabeth selling prom tickets.

And she figured since she was the one that had asked Archie, she should probably buy the tickets.

"Hey, Elizabeth," she greeted. "Can I get two tickets?"

John's just finished with classes for the day and, seeing Elizabeth selling prom tickets, pulls his wallet out and comes up to her with a smile.

Riiiiight. Xander could totally do this. Not like it was even the first time he'd bought tickets for a Prom. No sweat, aside from the amount his wallet was likely to sweat before he forked over the cash.

Which totally explains why it took him five minutes to casually cross the lobby and approach the table.

"Hey, Liz. Guess I--" Xander shrugged, then smiled a little self-consciously. "--need two?"

7th Period

It's been a long day. As evidenced by the editorializing she's scribbled on her papers, the completed crosswords and puzzle pages.
