Basement Pool: Thurday after classes: Pool Party!

Various inflatable pool toys are scattered in the pool and around it.

There's a radio playing any number of random CDs provided by Pippi. So unless somebody else wants to bring some music there's an eclectic mix of Flogging Molly, Butler Fetish, The Ramones, and sea shanties blaring.

There's also a table chock full of foodstuffs.

Swim. Eat. Play.

"All I heard was 'alternative sexualities'," Ivanova put in, doing a lazy backcrawl in their direction. "I'm in."

Pip shrugged. "I was just saying that I find it suprising that Walter is so confident in his homosexuality at the age of fourteen, especially considering that he comes from the 1940's."

Nadia glanced over at Walter with a very slightly raised eyebrow. "That's true. How would you really know unless you tried both sides?" She looked over at Ivanova. "Maybe I should try kissing girls for awhile,"

"What about you, Pip?" No, let's not have the focus on his sexuality, thank you. "Did you ever wonder if guys were going to be more to your taste?"

"Oui. That's why I tried it," Pip said. "In Australia. Decided that the girls, they taste better. You ever tried the other side?"

Ivanova was chuckling over the entire conversation. "Nadia, if you ever feel like experimenting . . ." she offered lightly with a waggle of her eyebrows.

Eep.

Walter shook his head at Pip. "It hasn't come up."

No, he's not looking at Nadia. Or blushing. Or wondering if he should be having another brownie.

As for Nadia?

Well, she was torn between wanting to egg on the conversation about Walter trying girls and wondering what it would be like to snog Ivanova.

She? Was blushing. Just a little, though.

A blush, success! Ivanova smirked. She was evil, wearing a bikini for the first time in a very long time, and had left all ex-girlfriend-related emo in her room. Excellent.

Nadia caught the smirk and knew she'd been caught in her blush. That just wouldn't do.

Time to act cool. "I might have to take you up on that, Ivanova. Because that bikini is very nice."

And because Ivanova did have nice lips. Nadia was a fan of lips.

Walter blinked. Girlkissy?

"What? No organized event with picture taking, flags, and glitter?"

"I'm rather fond of it myself," Ivanova murmured, still smirking, stretching a bit in the water. "Wait - how is glitter involved?"

"Glitter is involved in everything," Pip answered. He turned to Walter and grinned. "It hasn't? Well, that's quite the shame. If it hasn't ever come up, how can you be so sure?"

He swam around and altered his position. "And before you start thinking you can distract me by encouraging Nadia and Ivanova to kiss, I'd like to point out that, oh dear, they seem to be in my blind spot. I can't see them at all. Such a shame."

Pippi makes ready with the camera... In a clandestine kind of way.

"Glitter is always involved," Nadia told Ivanova, then grinned as Pip switched his position. "I think I need to show Walter that it's okay to experiment. What do you think, Ivanova?"

Walter's eyes widened comically, but he kept his mouth shut.

She had already bought the prom dress for a date with not-Tonks and had sex with not-Tonks, why not?

"I'm game," she replied with a grin, her eyes sparkling with humour at the situation. And the expression on Walter's face.

Walter shook his head and asked Pip, "You're going to insult your date by not even watching when she kisses my date?"

The alternative sexuality mixing was starting to make his head spin.

Nadia's grin widened and she pulled one hand out of the water to give Ivanova a nice "come hither" finger.

She hadn't had a real kiss in a very long time. And Ivanova really did look good in that bikini.

"Are you kidding? I'd never be so rude," Pip said as he moved around behind Walter to watch. "I'm just making sure you stay here and don't try escape and avoid the question. Super speed doesn't help you if you've got to push through the water."

Pippi, ~~who is apparently not permitted to have a sexuality, not that the mun is bitter about that oh no~~ slowly brings her camera up.

So nobody will hear her.

Bringing the camera up.

Shut up, it's sneaky.

Ivanova very obligingly went thither with a couple of quick strokes, placing one hand lightly on the small of her back under the water so they wouldn't float apart. "So I am to perform with an audience?" she asked archly.

Walter did not respond to Pip's comment about speed and pushing through the water because it reminded him of things that were not welcome at this party.

"Shh... there's girlkissy happening," he said for Pip's benefit. Not that he had any idea how he actually felt about that.

"Well, I am, too," Nadia said. "Is that a problem? We could ask them to turn around."

She was now very, very close to said bikini. And the lips.

And she really wasn't complaining.

Ivanova shook her head. "No, I think that might upset them. Besides, Pippi won't get a good shot that way." Her leg bumped against Nadia's as she tread water. "You sure about this?" she murmured, licking her lips.
