Second Floor Common Room - very late at night until morning

In the wee small hours of the morning, Molly couldn't sleep. Not wanting to wake Pippi, she left their room to see if anyone else was awake this late. Or early. All the common rooms were empty, so once she made it down to the second floor, she decided to watch TV for a while.

Which is why anyone who came into the common room would find (a normal sized) Molly asleep on the couch with the TV still on.

"MOLLY! MOLLY! MOLLY! MOLLY!" Cameron shouted, because he wasn't about to give his bowl up if he could prevent it.

Molly sighed. "Yes, Cam?" she said calmly from five feet away.

"Callisto and I need more ice cream," he said very seriously.

She looked at Cam's bowl. "You ate all that already?"

"Uh huh," he nodded and tried to look cute. "I'm growing, I need lots of ice cream!"

Molly gave him a 'yeah, right' look. "You'll make yourself sick if you eat too much ice cream. Maybe you should have some cereal instead."

"Awwww, cereal's boring," Cameron pouted and rested his chin on the table so he could look up with big eyes at Molly.

Molly closed her eyes and sighed because that really wasn't fair.

"Okay. You can have a little more ice cream, but that is all. No more after that." She tried to sound firm, she really did.

She gave him more ice cream.

"Yaaaaaaaay! Your are the bestest girl ever!" Cameron beamed and happily started eating.

"I'm going to remind you that you said that the next time you get mad at me," Molly said with a smile as she ruffled his hair.

"Grrrrrrr!" Cameron shook his head, trying to straighten his hair again.

"I can do it! I can do it!" Cameron ducked away and tried to get it himself. Too bad he had ice cream on his hands.

Cameron frowned and looked at his hands. "Sticky!" He announced proudly.

"Yes, sticky."

Molly went to the sink and came back with two wet paper towels. She gave on to Cam. "Here, you clean off your hands and I'll get the ice cream out of your hair."

"Yes, m'am." Cameron saluted and because he was a big boy and all grown up unlike the other kids in the room, he set to wiping off his hands.

Molly smiled again and started cleaning the ice cream out of his hair.

She sighed. "I don't suppose you know what happened to everybody," she said, not expecting an answer. "I really hope this doesn't last long."

"What last long?" Cameron asked as he frowned in concentration while he cleaned off his hands. This was a serious job and it needed all his attention.

By now, Molly had realized that none of them really knew there was anything wrong. "Ah, nothing, Cam. I was just thinking out loud."

Satisfied with his cleaning job, Cameron dumped the towel on the table and grinned at Molly. "No thinking, then you go all serious and you start frowning and then you get lines in your forehead that won't go away because you're being way too serious."

Molly laughed. "Okay, no being serious and no thinking. What should we do instead?"

"Uh..." He tilted his head as he thought about this. "Tag!" He said and tapped Molly on the shoulder before jumping off his chair and running away.
