Second floor common room, Sunday morning

Aeryn doesn't like doing things that might embarrass herself. However, it's also Sunday morning and she knows what time it is. Some things are just more Important.

So she wakes up early, makes her way into the second floor common room, careful of anyone who may be camped out there, and turns on the TV.

She might sing along with the "Smile Time" theme song. She's definitely swaying back and forth with the music. For she is five.

Angela crawled out of her fort, dragging her bear.

She blinked at the other girl. "You hit me on the radio," she said.

Callisto sneaked sneakily into the common room, carrying the rope for her vampire trap.

Looking around she started setting up the trap so no vampires could sneak up on her while she collected stakes.

Angela watched Callist out of the corner of her eye, fingers in her mouth. "What are you doing?"

"Making a vampire trap," Callisto said matter-of-factly.

Angela nodded. "Oh."

"Like for Angel?"

"No!" Callisto sounded shocked. "I don't need to trap Angel, he's a good vampire, and we're married."

"It's for the evil vampires."

"You're married? Did you get to wear a pretty dress an' carry flowers?" Angela asked. "My cousin got married and she did."

She shuddered. "Maybe the fort would keep evil vampires out. Marty says it keeps monsters out, and Krycek made it safe from aliems too."

"Nuh uh, no dresses, but we-" Callisto blushed and giggled, "-kissed."

Callisto nodded sagely. "It must be a very good fort then."

Angela's eyes were big. "I like dresses better than kissing. But Angel is cute. You should get married again with a pretty dress when you're big."

"And it's the best fort! Only, I think people might still be asleep."

"Ice cream!" Cameron charges into the common room, fully regenerated after a good night's sleep. He's wearing the cap he got from John with Christmas backwards, just like Luke and he's swapped his pajama's for a mini superhero costume.

"Kissing is much better than dresses. You can't run properly in dresses."

Callisto lowered her voice. "Oh, we don't wanna wake them."

Callisto glared at Cameron. He nearly messed up her vampire trap. "Shh! People are sleeping.""

"I don't care, sleep is for losers," Cameron stared at what Callisto is making and wrinkled his nose. "What's that?"

"But you don' hafta run if you're getting married," Angela said.

She shrugged. "I think it's okay. The TV didn't waken them up. How do you make a vampire trap?"

"Vampire trap."

Angela has quite a good eyeroll for such a weetiny girl.

"That's just silly," Cameron rolled his eyes and headed into the kitchen. "I'm hungry."

Cameron is an expert in sticking out his tongue.

"But what if you want to play chasey with your husband?" Callisto asked.

"An' it's simple. You just make a snare like this," Callisto held up a loop of rope. "And then you set it up so as when a vampire steps in it, it goes off and the vampire dangles from the ceiling."

"It's not silly," Callisto said. "Angel thought it was a good idea and he's a vampire. An' we're married."

"Eww, clearly the cooties got to Angel's brain," Cameron decided and started pulling open cupboards. Of course there was nothing edible in the lower ones so he climbed on top of the counter.

"Angel does not have cooties!" Callisto scowled at Cameron.

"Not until you infected them!" He countered and hit the big treasure. Cookies! He started pulling out the packaged and threw them onto the ground.

"I did not!" Callisto went to tackle Cameron. "Take it back!"

And it was really hard to keep standing when someone tackled your legs. Down he went, hitting the ground with a cry. That hurt.
