2nd Floor Common Room, Thursday Morning

Janet found herself inexcplicably unable to sleep in, and so was watching a Z-Files marathon in the common room. Ooh. They were starting with first season. This was the episode with that kidney-eating mutant, Edward Brooms. What was the title again? Squish, maybe?

Blair stopped by on his way back from J,GoB and waved. "Hi Janet!"

"Hey, Blair!" Janet waved. "How's it going?"

"Great! I met some of the new people who live on my floor yesterday. They all seem really nice." Blair held out the bag he was carrying. "What some breakfast?"

D'anna shuffled out of 237 while still in her pjs and flopped down on one of the couches. "Morning, Janet," she said.

Or tried to say. She began to yawn when her mouth opened so it came out, "Mhooooooooornhnetfh."

"You know, I think I have some extra coffee in the pot in my room," said Janet, grinning. "Unless my roommates have stolen it all. Want some?"

"Yes, please." D nodded enthusiastically as she curled up under one of the couch throws and ywaned again.

Peter bowed to the other lady in the room after learning about the necessity of coffee.

D'anna was torn between giggling and her standard looks of disbelief. Thus bewildered, she simply smiled. "Good morning." This time she managed to not yawn.

Realising that he was without caffiene Zack ventured out with the intention of finding some, he passed by the common room and decided to check in there.

He still had his camera with him, just in case.

"Hey!" Blair bounced over, with his bag from J,GoB. "Hi, I'm Blair. You're a new student, right? Danish?"

"Zack," he said, blinking slightly at the bouncing. "Yeah, I'm new, and from Michigan, actually."

Janet had a cup of coffee and possible plans of just bringing a giant pot of it out from her room. And--hey, new kid. "Come and join the fun," said Janet, waving. "I'm Janet Fraiser."

"Zack Addy," he said, taking a seat. "Hey, I remember this episode."

After sparring in the gym and showering, Peter figured he ought to see if any of the other floors were different from his. He'd seen the fourth floor last night, so he ventured onto the 2nd. Peeking into the Common Room, he saw Janet on the couch. Walking in, he bowed to her in greeting. "Good morning, Janet. How does the day find you?"

Janet grinned and waved. Maybe he'd get over bowing at people in a while? "Hey, Peter. I'm good. You?" She nodded over at the table, where there was a large pot of coffee and some cups. "Want some coffee? Or are you a determined tea drinker?"

Blair watched the bowing with interest. "Hey man."

Zack lifted his coffee cup in greeting. "Morning."

Elizabeth bought her own coffee, and was cradling it protectively. "Morning," she waved, smiling at Janet.

She glanced at the TV. "Are they massacring Russian again today?"

Janet grinned at Liz. "Hey. How's it going?"

"No, this is first season. Before what's-his-name showed up." Janet glanced back at the screen. "They're massacring science again, though."

"Hey, Liz. I've told four guys so far that tomorrow is Shirtless Day. And Cam probably didn't buy into it, but I doubt he'll stop me from telling more." Parker popped a bite of muffin in her mouth. "Spread the word?"

Sam walked into the common room and sat down on the floor. She may have looked a bit soggy.

She waved to the room. Damply. "Hi. If I've never met you before, I'm Sam."

"Hi, Sam, I'm Janet. Are you new here?" Janet snickered. "Coffee?" She nodded at the table, where the pitcher from 239/240 was sitting along with cups. "You look like you could use it."

After showering, Jack walked into the commmon room. Coffee and food. Two necessities of the day. He fixed himself a cup of coffee and a bowl of cereal, and sprawled in a chair, watching the TV.
