2nd Floor Common Room, Thursday Afternoon

Logan was in the kitchen. Cooking. Because when you were in a kitchen, working with a blender, you could call it cooking. Even if the result was more beverage-y than food-y. It was practically summer, anyway. Perfect time for a cold iced drink. With tequila.

The television was playing "Annie".

"Hey, Logan." Parker's wandering by, still appreciating being on break. She cocks her head at the blender food. "Starting early, are you?"

Rolling her eyes, she parked herself against the counter and watched him assemble his drink. "Right. Forget I asked that then. Silly question. Your house was demolished by snow monsters, and you still saved the liquor cabinet, mostly." Parker cocked her head. "Speaking of time-- when are you out of here?"

Logan shrugged. "Some place with good surfing," he said. "Cabo, maybe. Going to get my car from storage tomorrow and hit the road. No plans. Nobody waiting at home for this orphan," he grinned.

Fuck. Parker stayed silent for several long minutes, then said, "I see." She took a swig from the drink he'd given her, then carefully said, "Any suspects?"

"Not much faith in the authorities of Neptune, I take it. I think V mentioned them once, way back." She let out a slow breath. 'I'm sorry' seems trite, especially since from what she's heard, Aaron Echolls was just reaping karmic payback. But still. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
