Looking for something to distract himself from moping, Bel sprawled on the couch of the third floor common room, flipping through the channels of the TV. He settled on an episode of the History Channel's "Mega Diasters" series: West Coast Tsunami. Violence and destruction. Perfect.

Kaylee stared at the girl in awe. "Really?"

Faithful cheerful informed Kaylee of where she could stick her question. Alanna blinked. "FAITHFUL!" "YOU GAVE ME A BATH!" Faithful yowled back at her. "Don't be rude to other people!" "BATH!"

Kaylee just continued staring. "Wow."

Faithful glared at the world and stalked out of the common room. "Hi, I'm Alanna. That was Faithful. Remind me not to attempt to give him a bath for another half a year or so."

She smiled. "Nice to meet you. I'm Kaylee."

"So how are you liking Fandom so far? And please tell me you're new and I didn't just not notice you all of the first term."

"I sure am new. Just got here a few days ago," Kaylee said. "So far, I like it. It's shiny enough."

"Zombies." Alanna nodded. "And vampires, snow monsters, and tinybunnies."
