Third Floor CR, evening

Looking for something to distract himself from moping, Bel sprawled on the couch of the third floor common room, flipping through the channels of the TV. He settled on an episode of the History Channel's "Mega Diasters" series: West Coast Tsunami. Violence and destruction. Perfect.

Alanna wandered into her own common room. "Wet." Faithful hissed and shook himself off.

"Yeah, it's pretty crummy outside, isn't it?" Bel said idly. He held out his hand to scritch Faithful, not conjuring fire but letting heat radiate from his fingers to dry the god cat off.

Kaylee realized she had not been to the common room on her own floor yet. She grinned when she spotted people she has not met before. "Hello."

"Hey," Bel said from the couch. "Newbie?"

Faithful was more than happy to be scritched and happily purred. "Tell me about." Alanna grumbled. "It's summer. Summers are sunny damn it. And you needed a bath." Faithful ignored her.

Alanna waved. "The cat talks."

Kaylee nodded, still smiling. "My name's Kaylee."

Kaylee stared at the girl in awe. "Really?"

Alphonse was bored. Not much of anyone could be found, and hey, now that the common room was still living, he decided to pay it a visit. Finding Bel there was kind of surprising, but quickly waved it off. "Hey," he greeted.

"Technically it's still spring," Bel pointed out.

Dawn wandered into the common room, only a little bit sorry that shirtless day seemed to be over.

Faithful cheerful informed Kaylee of where she could stick her question. Alanna blinked. "FAITHFUL!" "YOU GAVE ME A BATH!" Faithful yowled back at her. "Don't be rude to other people!" "BATH!"

"Belthazor," Bel said. "Bel for short. Where are you from?"

Alanna grumbled. "Two more weeks. I want sun."

"Hey," Bel said. "How's it going?"

"Hey," Bel said in greeting, noting another new student. He looked for her name tag. Or he may have been checking her out.

"Bored," he replied, shrugging. "Can't seem to get a hold of anyone."

"Come August you'll be complaining it's too hot," Bel said. "Me, I love the heat."

"I'm from...500 years or so in the future," Kaylee said. She figured if he isn't new, he must have already dealt with weirdness. "I lived on a ship before coming here."

"Yeah, it's been quiet today," Bel said. "Came down from the attic to here to see if I could run into some people."

"It can never be too hot." Alanna informed Bel. "Keep in mind you're talking to the girl who wears six or seven sweaters in the winter."

"Future, huh?" Bel said. He noted they grew them cute in the future. "You from Earth or another planet?"

Faithful glared at the world and stalked out of the common room. "Hi, I'm Alanna. That was Faithful. Remind me not to attempt to give him a bath for another half a year or so."

"I haven't bumped into much of anyone since yesterday," Alphonse said. "Which is strange. Even Walter hasn't returned back to our room."
