Third Floor CR, evening

Looking for something to distract himself from moping, Bel sprawled on the couch of the third floor common room, flipping through the channels of the TV. He settled on an episode of the History Channel's "Mega Diasters" series: West Coast Tsunami. Violence and destruction. Perfect.

"I haven't bumped into much of anyone since yesterday," Alphonse said. "Which is strange. Even Walter hasn't returned back to our room."

"Didn't he stand up Nadia or something?" Bel asked. "Remind me to have a talk with that boy."

"He did what?" Alphonse blinked.

"Phoebe told me," Bel said. "She was with Nadia last night. Apparently Walter stood up Nadia and she was really upset about it."

"Oh." Alphonse looked a little sheepish. "I didn't even know they arranged a date. That's a little unusual of him, though."

"He'd better have a damned good reason," Bel said grumpily. "Upset friends equals upset Phoebe, and I don't like that."

"If he comes back tonight I can ask him about it," he said. "I don't know why Walter would do that; he and Nadia are pretty good friends."

"That's what I thought, too," Bel said. "Maybe he was kidnapped by aliens or something."

"It'd would probably make more sense than anything I've got," Alphonse chuckled. "Pup's been gone, too, and I can't figure out any other place where Walter would spend the night at. And it obviously wasn't Nadia..."

"Maybe he decided he wasn't into girls after all and got cold feet?" Bel suggested.

"It's possible," he shrugged again. "But would he disappear for two days over it?"
