Third Floor CR, evening

Looking for something to distract himself from moping, Bel sprawled on the couch of the third floor common room, flipping through the channels of the TV. He settled on an episode of the History Channel's "Mega Diasters" series: West Coast Tsunami. Violence and destruction. Perfect.

"So we're sorta neighbors...kinda," Kaylee added. "Ooh, there's a cat and dog on this floor? I have no seen them yet."

"Yeah, Walter owns a dog and I've been keeping a kitten my brother found," Alphonse said. "For the most part they stay in our room. I really need to take my own pet out more often."

"Oh!" Kaylee exclaimed. "They're in your room? I'll have to meet them sometime."

"Yup! Well, at least my kitten's in there as of now, and I'm sure he's bored out of his mind without Pup around."

"What's the kitty's name?" Kaylee asked curiously.

"Er, Cuddles. I'm perfectly aware of what a rediculous name that is."

"Awww, I like it. I think it's cute, omg!"

"Really? He'd probably have a better name if I didn't decide to name him during the weekend everyone got turned into kids."

"Huh?" Kaylee really had nothing else to say about that.

"Oh, right," Alphonse looked at her awkwardly. "It wasn't long before all you new students came. Most of the students suddenly became no older than ten for the weekend. It was... interesting, to say the least."

Kaylee grinned. "Sounds like fun."

"I think most people did," he laughed. "I ended up getting in an extremely silly fight with my brother."

"You have a brother? He go here too?"

"Yeah, I do. His name's Edward; he lives down on the second floor, though. I'm not sure if you've ran into him yet."

"Don't remember meetin' anyone named Edward."

He shrugged. "He's worse than me when it comes to not leaving the room. Maybe I should urge him to come out sometime."

"Well, I sure am glad you were here tonight. I like meetin' new people," Kaylee said with a grin.

"It's always a pleasure," Alphonse nodded. "Before, this common room was always very empty, so it's nice to come to it with some activity."

"I saw some flyers around about the second floor common room being like the center of the 'verse or something. We'll have to try to change that," Kaylee said with a grin.

"Oh, that? It used to be the only common room anyone bothered going into! And now," Alphonse notioned the room. "I'm not thinkin' so."
